Appearance —

Asahi is a tall and athletic, muscular young man who is well-built for his age, stemming from the immense amount of training he puts himself through. He has short hair that doesn't reach his neck. His hair is styled in a center-parted flow. His eyes are seen as confident and commanding, as he also possesses heterochromia iridium, which causes his left eye's iris to appear red, while his right eye is blue. He usually has a calm and confident expression and is repeatedly referred to as handsome and charming.

At U.A., he wears the standard male uniform: a light gray blazer with dark turquoise trimmings over a white dress shirt, dark blue-green pants, a red tie, and brown dress shoes.

In his hero costume, he wears a black business suit with a white inner dress shirt, dark blue tie, and black pants. The suit is flexible and made specifically for combat situations. The suit has plenty of hidden pockets that carry all of his equipment and gadgets. The suit has a layer of Kevlar armor spread through the inner linings. To complement the suit and for pure aesthetics, he wears a fancy watch, specifically a Patek Philippe Grand Complications dial watch.

His civilian appeal is either business casual or retro. He usually accompanies his outfits with an expensive watch or a japanese style fedora. 

 

Personality —

Asahi has a confident, proud, and optimistic personality. He can at times be super unpredictable but he always has the right intentions in mind. Despite his fancy appeal he is actually very generous and kind-hearted. Though he struggles making friends because he tends to be straightforward and overly truthful even when it might hurt someones feelings. His speech pattern has even been described as sometimes condescending, always confident, and sometimes arrogant. 

Asahi is very good at adhering and applying the advice of others, he is adaptive and generally good in any situation. He has a strong intuition and is a very competent and intelligent individual. Strategically he is a genius, and he enjoys playing games that test his strategic mind such as chess, shogi, gomoku, renju, and ostle. Although he isn't very good when working in groups as he believes himself fully capable of doing anything by himself, even when at times he needs help, but this doesn't mean he is completely against working with others.

Asahi cherishes and loves Mei Hatsume, whom he began dating sometime after the U.A. Sports Festival. He instantly fell for her shameless and assertive personality, finding it cute how obsessed she can get with her love for her creation. Which is why he constantly finds himself hovering around in power loader's workshop during his free time, so that he can spend more time with and around Mei. Asahi has been very open with his emotions towards her and casually acts flirtatiously when talking to her.

When Asahi finds his friends or those he holds near in danger, he adopts a calmer and colder approach. He becomes ruthless in nature and dedicated to protecting those he loves.

Abilities —

Overall Abilities: Asahi is a combat expert and master of multiple martial arts, which he's able to seamlessly blend into his combat style. Ever since he was young and he awakened his quirk, he has been training to master it and find the best way to utilize its abilities. Through this training, Asahi has adapted to using his quirk in close and long ranges. Using his quirk, Asahi can fight from most, if not all, angles effortlessly. And he is a skilled sharpshooter when repelling his rubber bullets with his quirk to attack opponents or targets.

MMA: Asahi is a master of Karate, Judo, Aikido, and Jujutsu. He is capable of blending these martial arts together to form a unique martial arts style that suits his quirk. When fighting, he likes to appear as fluent and seamless as possible. 

Strategic Intellect: Asahi is a strategic genius and can come up with complex plans in the midst of combat. Though he is less proficient at planning group attacks. He can quickly deduce the weaknesses of his opponents and is great at setting up traps. His ability to misdirect and manipulate mid combat are elite as he is able to control the perception of his opponents through the use of tactics. 

Indomitable Will: Asahi has but one motto, and that is to "Never Give Up!" No matter how tough things seem or how impossible the odds may be, he must fight, especially when there are people in danger and in need of saving. He understands the importance of endurance even when fighting a losing battle and he practices immense discipline to rid his mind of fear or thoughts of failure.

Description

Attract & Repel ( 引力と斥力 Inryoku to Sekiryoku) allows the user to manipulate vector fields to generate attractive and repulsive forces from their body. This Quirk is split across the user's upper body: the left hand governs attraction (pulling matter inward), while the right hand governs repulsion (pushing matter away).

The user can either project these forces as invisible waves or "infuse" an object they touch with a temporary polarity. By applying these forces to their own center of mass, the user can achieve high-speed mobility and limited levitation.

AbilitiesAttraction: Using their left hand the user can emit an attractive pull, that draws in objects within their range. The range of this ability is coherent with the users mastery of their quirk.Repulsion: Using their right hand the user can emit a repulsive push that forces objects in range or in direct physical contact to be pushed away from the user. New Moves

Orbit Strike: The user sets a remote Attraction anchor behind an opponent and a Repulsion force in front. Instead of being crushed, the opponent is caught in a high-speed "slingshot" rotation, spinning around the user until they are launched at terminal velocity.

Grand Crusher: Asahi touches the ground and infuses it with a massive, localized Attraction field. Everything within a 15ft radius is violently slammed into the floor and pinned there by intense G-force.

Void Step: By repelling the air molecules directly in front of his feet while attracting the space behind him, Asahi can "teleport" short distances by folding the distance between two points.

Singularity Barrier: By rapidly alternating between attraction and repulsion in a circular motion around his body, Asahi creates a "distortion zone" that causes incoming projectiles to either be sucked into the ground or deflected into the sky before they can touch him.

New Super Moves

Event Horizon: Asahi extends both hands and creates a "Static Singularity" between them. This point exerts an inescapable pull on everything in the vicinity. Once the target is sucked into the center, Asahi flips the polarity to maximum Repulsion, causing a massive omnidirectional explosion that levels the immediate area.

Absolute Zero-Point: An evolved version of Zero-Point Collapse. Asahi touches a target and causes the attractive and repulsive forces to cancel each other out perfectly at a molecular level, momentarily "locking" the target's atoms in place. This results in total molecular paralysis, freezing the opponent in time and space for several seconds.

Updated Limitations

Neural Overload: Manifesting remote anchors requires immense mental calculation. Overusing the Awakening causes "Spatial Migraines," where the user loses their sense of "up" and "down," leading to total disorientation.

Environmental Collateral: Unlike the base Quirk, the Awakening is difficult to contain. Remote anchors pull in everything—debris, allies, and civilian structures—making it dangerous to use in populated areas.

Caloric Burn: Negating mass and anchoring space consumes massive amounts of internal energy. After using a Super Move like Event Horizon, the user's muscles may suffer from temporary "gravity fatigue," making them feel five times heavier than normal.

Whitehole Granade

Designed to mimic the "push" of Asahi's Quirk, these canisters are specialized storage units for his Repulsive Force. Asahi can "prime" these devices by channeling his energy into them. When deployed, the grenade emits a powerful, 20-foot shockwave of outward kinetic energy. Unlike standard explosives, these do not produce fire or shrapnel; they are used to clear crowds, deflect incoming projectiles, or create sudden distance between Asahi and a villain.

Blackhole Granade 

The polar opposite of the Whitehole series, these sleek black canisters store Asahi's Attractive Force. Upon activation, the grenade generates a localized gravity well with a 20-foot radius. It pulls in loose objects, debris, or opponents toward the center of the device. Perfect for trapping agile opponents or "clumping" a group of villains together for a finishing move. It effectively acts as a non-lethal vacuum trap.

Rubber Bullets

Standard-issue rubber ammunition customized for synergy with Asahi's Quirk. Asahi carries these in specialized tactical pouches. By flicking a pellet and simultaneously applying a concentrated burst of Repulsion, he can launch them with the velocity of a real firearm. These allow Asahi to remain a threat at long range without relying on heavy machinery. The rubber material ensures that while the impact is painful and incapacitating, it remains a non-lethal option for hero work.
