Sleeping in a barrel was very uncomfortable. However the excitement of being in the one piece universe was unpalpable. The moment I woke up I used my ability to copy the steel and wood on the barrel and the air in the barrel because I am not an idiot who thinks air isn't a material.
After I was done I transformed into steel and burst through barrel. The moment I appeared I noticed two knocked out pirates and one scurrying away alongside a shaking pink haired boy and a young man in a red overcoat and straw hat.
"Sup."
"Hi there I'm Monkey D. Luffy and I am gonna be king of the pirates."
"Cool you got a crew."
"Nope!"
"Then I'll be your vice captain nothing more nothing less."
"Alright!"
"What the fuck is going on!" The pink twerp yelled in the corner.
Ignoring the pink bitch I looked at my new captain and said. "Can I see your hand?"
He said with no hesitation whatsoever. Extending his hand which I grabbed and copied his devil fruit.
Taking his hand back he asked "what'd you do?" Not quite answering not quite shrugging it off I extended the side of my lip and said "I am a rubber man!"
Luffy's eyes practically exploded. "Awesome, but I am a rubber man did you also eat the gum gum fruit?"
"Nope I am a special case I never ate a devil fruit but any one with a devil fruit I can copy the ability of and any material I touch I can't copy and get logia like abilities of."
"Awesome!" He yelled as I went over to the other areas of the kitchen and copied different materials from foods kitchen ware etc.
I was able to copy Apples, Bannanas, oranges, silver, ceramic, glass, copper, bronze, oil, water, and ice.
My ability is highly useful as just about any item can be considered a material even foods and basic items such as water, ice and air even if it doesn't have many uses a form of matter is considered a material.
After I finished in the kitchen we made our way out of the storage room only to meet miss ugly alvida. This was alvida before her weight loss transformation.
"Koby! Do you plan to run out on me!"
"Who this fat lady." Luffy said with no regard for the woman's emotional health.
However unlike in the original where she gets angry and charges at him she instead pulls out a pink devil fruit and bites down instantly slimming into a beautiful young woman.
Before she can charge at us I transform into air and fly into her transform my hand back into myself tal her on the nose to copy her devil fruit then blow a massive amount of wind into her just enough to get her away from the boat and into the sea without landing near an island.
Then while advising my captain I transformed into steel and started cutting down the rest of the pirates.
"Remember captain if you defeat or humiliate someone who offended you always kill them or cut off future advance as it almost always will bite you in the butt if you meet them again when there stronger."
"Huh I never thought of that but yeah that makes sense."
