[MC POV]
It's been a year since we started living in Camp Half-Blood in that year, I've been focus on training and planning. My skills with a sword have become much better especially since I trained with Luke and Thalia every day. I also became skilled in wielding the axe my archery also improved massively compared to before I had the Apollo kids to thank for that. I showed the most improvement in with demi-god abilities I was almost a master when came to pyrokinesis. I could make someone spontaneous combust with enough focus. My control over air was getting better I could use in combat but there was room for growth.
Thalia had grown the most throughout this year her unlike me she never had formal training with it her power skyrocketed. By time the story starts she'll probably be stronger than Jason and Percy were near the End of the book. I was satisfied with Luke growth his swordsmanship was better than mines and he has improved in the way he uses his powers. Annabeth growth was just as good but in different way she was consider a genius among geniuses even for children of Athena standers. I started to teach all of them magic my lessons would give them a fondations for when they became psykers.
Luke and Thalia were still working on the fundamentals of magic Annabeth had more talent compared to them I would say her talent matched my own. She would definitely become a powerful psyker in the future. I have enjoyed my time at the camp more than expected but I planned to leave soon I had plenty of things to do before the start of main series. I wanted to establish my own sanctuary for demi-gods this will be a place for my main allies. I already had several people in mind already but first I had to build it lucky I had Gaea help.
Once the sanctuary was established, I planned to recruit demi-gods from all over even demi-gods from other pantheons were also welcome to join. My sanctuary will build near Alaska my main targets were demi-gods who didn't adjust well to mortal society. The sanctuary will give them a safe place to live along with people to connect with but also purpose. I will build in new order where demigods will be more than heros and soldiers they be in highest of postions helping humanity survive it's future horrors.
''Are you ready yet'' Thalia asked impatiently.
''Someone having her time of the month'' I joked.
As soon as I finished speaking, I received a swift kick to the back that nearly sent me flying.
''I was just kidding let's go'' I said.
''Finally,'' she said.
''Let's say goodbye to Luke and Annabeth they met us by the big house'' I said.
''Alright'' she responded.
''I'll meet you there I gotta do one more thing first'' I said.
''Fine hurry up'' she said.
I quickly made my way to the Hestia Hearth one of my favorite places in camp half-blood.
''Hello Hestia, how's my favorite goddess doing'' I ask?
''Hello to you as well Dunamis I am doing fine thanks for asking'' Hestia said amused.
''Of course, got to make sure Olympus best goddess is well taken care of'' I responded.
''I didn't know I needn't care'' she said chuckling.
''You don't know need it, but I like doing it for you take care of everyone I think it's time someone took care of you'' I said sincerely.
''Your good boy Dunamis I've come to enjoy your visits I never meant demigod quite like you'' she said kindly.
''That means a lot coming from you I'm leaving today so this will be my last visit for while'' I said sadly I really enjoyed talking with her.
''Are sure leaving the camp is wise'' she asks in worried tone.
''It's not wise but it's necessary this something I have to do'' I stated.
''Reckless child be safe and remember don't be afraid to rely on your allies'' she advises.
''I'll remember see you soon cousin'' I said as hugged her goodbye.
''Try not to die to soon'' she said.
''I want Fate favors me I said as I walked away.
When I return, I'll start my plans on improving the camp I'll also have to do something about the Labyrinth but that was another time.
''Luke Annabeth were finna head out remember the plan'' I said.
''Yeah, I know start looking for potential recruits'' he said.
''Why is he the only one who gets mission'' asked Annabeth?
''You do have mission train to become stronger'' I said patiently.
''Everybody does that'' she complained.
''True but your founding member of The Order of Celestials so your training is more special'' I said sincerely.
''Fine'' she said finally relenting.
''I still think you could've come up with better name'' said Thalia.
''Shut up the name is fine'' I said defended myself.
''When do you plan on coming back'' asked Luke.
''About a year or so take these they will allow you to contact us'' I said as handed them magical wristband.
''That's smart using Iris might be too risky'' said Luke.
''I had the same thoughts that's why made them''.
''When you comeback, I'll be able to make stuff like that too'' said Annabeth challenging.
''I'll hold you to that'' I said as I gave her a hug.
Me and Annabeth have been together since the beginning I understood her reluctants to stay but she still to young plus she should use this time to get stronger she'll have plenty time to shine later.
''By you guys see you in a year'' I said.
''Don't die out there'' said Luke.
''I'll make sure we comeback'' said Thalia in tired voice.
''Don't say it like I need to babysitter'' I said annoyed.
''You do your most reckless idiot I have ever meant'' she said laughing.
''She does have point'' said Luke.
''That's why I want to come with you I would stop you from doing anything stupid'' she said.
''I'll be perfectly fine I'm sure I can survive a year without your immense wisdom'' I said sarcastically.
''I'm glad I caught you before you left'' I heard a voice say.
I turn around to Chiron in past year me and the others have grown close to the old man he really cares for us demigods we respected for it I also enjoyed sparing with him one of goals was to defeat him.
''Hello Chiron, I'm sad Mr. D didn't join you too busy to say goodbye to favorite camper'' I said sarcastically.
''Hello young Dunamis I was checking to see if you were still set on leaving and you are well aware on how Mr. D feels about demigods'' said the old centaur.
''He only dislikes demigods because we remind of the gods he also hates'' I said casually.
''Dunamis'' said Chiron in warning voice.
''Fine I'll stop but me and Thalia are ready for this new adventure will strong enough to handle any challenge that comes'' I said confidently.
''I don't doubt your strength it's your wisdom that worries me if have a habit of testing fate even in our sparing sessions you take risk'' said Chiron.
''Fate is on my side old man don't worry about us'' I said.
''Your words worry me even more'' said Chiron tiredly.
''Don't worry Chiron I'll make sure he doesn't do anything to stupid'' said Thalia.
''Unlike young Dunamis you have learned to be patience and have grown more mature try to pass that to him'' said Chiron warmly.
''Thank you, Chiron I will tryo my best'' said Thalia smiling.
''Don't talk about me like I'm not here'' I said annoyed.
''I miss you guy's comeback alive'' said Luke warmly.
''If you die, I swear I want forgive either of you'' said Annabeth trying to sound tuff.
''See you in year times'' I said.
''By guys'' said Thalia.
''Soo where are we going first'' she asked?
''Where going to Aunty Anne's to find Medusa'' I said.
''Why are you looking for her'' she questioned?
''I want her to become my priestess''
''Right, I forgot we have to make a religion around ourselves still kinda weird when I think about'' said Thalia.
''Yeah, I feel the same but it's necessary at least you won't have to worry about playing the part yet establishing a new religion comes after surviving the wars with the Gods'' I said.
Hours later
''Where here'' I said.
''This where she lives, I was expected something more''.
''Horrifying'' I guessed.
''Yeah, pretty much'' she said.
''Before she was a monster, she was a lady'' I reminded.
''I see I would think these are statues if didn't know any better'' said Thalia as she touch one of the statues.
''This mist around this place is strong I didn't realize she was this skilled in magic that food also smells great'' I said.
''Hello children you seem hungry would like to eat and give this lonely some company'' she said sweetly.
She had the appearance of a middle eastern woman she was attractive in the way most supernatural beings where I could hear the snakes on her head hisses wanting be to set free.
''No need for the deception lady Medusa we came here to talk to you I swear on river sticks that we will not attack unless you threaten us or harm'' I said thunder rumble recognizing my pledge.
Her face changed instantly she went from kind lady trying to help some kids to a cold calculating killer this was the woman who has seen the rise and fall of civilization experienced in killing my fellow demigods.
''I'm not interested in joining your father's army son of Typhon'' she said viciously.
''Im here on own regard I serve no one but myself'' I said hiding my interest in knowing more about my father affairs.
''Then what do you want'' she asked?
''To have nice meal and to make you an offer you can't refuse'' I said putting on my brightest smile.
She was silence for few minutes before she spooks up ''You may come in'' she said finally.
''Thank you, my lady'' I said.
''I thought she going to attack you for moment'' said Thalia.
''I've successfully captured her interest now comes the hard part'' I said preparing myself.
''Do know what she was talking about when she mentioned your father'' she asks?
''No clue I'll have to ask her'' I said deeply curious about myself.
''Luckly for you the food is already finished I join you shortly'' she said.
''Damn this stuff really looks good'' said Thalia
''No kidding let's dig in'' I said.
Thalia ate fired chicken and mashed potatoes while I had some delicious spaghetti and meatballs with side of rice after we were done eating, she brought out some freshly baked cookies.
''You are quite kind Medusa but let's get back on track'' I said.
''I agree I'm quite curious about your so-called offer not every day a demigod tries to negotiate with me'' she said curious.
''You'll find me to be quite unique even among demigods'' I said.
''If any other demigod say that I dismiss it as arogance but you are quite different I can feel it so what do you have to offer me'' she asked?
''I want you to become my priestess in return I'll break your curse'' I offered.
The room fell silent once again she looked into my eyes trying to see if I was lying or not.
''You dare mock me you don't have power to do such thing'' she said angerly.
''Your right I can't but I can modify it turning it into blessing instead of a curse'' I said.
''What would a demigod need from priestess anyway'' she asked?
''I plan to overthrow the gods and become one myself'' I said casually.
''You are mad'' she said.
''Perhaps many great people where'' I acknowledge.
''Even if I agreed to this how plan on breaking the curse'' she asked?
''By using this'' I said as I showed her my mew necklace.
''What is it'' she asks already feeling the power coming of the necklace.
''A gift from Gaea herself my ally this holds a portion of her power'' I said cheekily.
With her power breaking the curse might actually be but becoming priestess to another god I'm not sure if I could do that again I gave my all to that woman and she abandon when I needed her the most, I can't go through that again thought Medusa.
''How can I trust you how do I know you want turn your back on me when it's convenient for you'' she asks?
''You don't I could swear on the river sticks again but both know that wouldn't really protect to you you'll have to take a risk but make no mistake with you or without you I will overthrow Zeus and create a new order you can join me and be part of what's coming or be left behind with old era'' I stated.
''Are you really willing to betray your father with a son of Typhon no less'' she asked?
''I chose my friends over my so-called father who has never done anything for'' she said coldly.
''Fate truly loves irony his daughter betraying him with his worst enemy and me being offered salvation by a demigod the enemie I've been killing for thaosand of years perhaps you'll become his queen as well'' she said teasingly.
''Shut up are you going to take the offer or not'' Thalia said clearly embarrassed by the accusation.
''I accept if you can really turn my curse into blessing as you say'' she said.
''Good lets get to it'' I said happily.
