Daniel almost had difficulty breathing. He coughed before saying, "Let... let me go first." James then let him go and urged, "Answer me!"
Daniel straightened his wrinkled collar and then frowned, "Who suspects that you are unfaithful? Your wife?" He scoffed, "I asked you to answer my question not ask me a question!" Hearing his unwilling tone, Daniel figured it out. It turned out that he had quarreled with his wife.
He said helplessly, "How can I know? I am not your wife, and I have never heard your pledge of love. But a woman's heart is a deep ocean of secrets, and they are all paranoid." James didn't speak, leaning on the back of the sofa expressionlessly.
Daniel continued, "However, what she said during the quarrel cannot be counted. Besides, Lovers' quarrels are soon mended. You are a man! Just go back and coax her. You don't need to get yourself drunk here!"
