He had always known that changing a person's mind was not something that could be done overnight. He had already been mentally prepared when he decided to marry her.
But even so, he was still a little hurt.
He felt a little defeated and upset until that night when the two returned home as usual.
After Yvonne entered the room, she went straight upstairs to the bedroom.
James followed behind her, watching as she went upstairs.
He paused for a moment before finally following her, stopping her before she entered the bedroom.
Yvonne was shocked. She looked at James, not understanding why he had stopped her.
James paused and asked, "Are you still angry with me?"
Yvonne asked, "Angry? What would I be angry about?"
She looked puzzled.
James asked, "You shut yourself in the room once you get home the past few days. Weren't you mad at me?"
Yvonne finally understood when she heard that.
