Origins of the World

The Creation of the World

In the beginning, before time had a name and before the stars filled the endless sky, there was only the void — silent, empty, and without form.

From that endless darkness, three divine beings emerged.

Their names were whispered through eternity:

Sundred.

Kaelryn.

Goldane.

They were not merely gods. They were creators, beings of unimaginable power whose wills alone could shape reality itself.

Together, they gazed upon the infinite emptiness and decided to craft something magnificent — a world that would live, breathe, and flourish.

Sundred was the first to act.

With a single motion of his divine hand, he shaped the lands. Mountains erupted from the ground like the bones of the world. Valleys stretched endlessly across the horizon, and continents formed under his command. The earth trembled as forests, plains, and deserts came into existence.

Then came Kaelryn, the architect of the oceans.

She summoned the waters of creation, and the seas roared to life. Vast oceans swallowed the edges of the continents, rivers flowed like veins across the lands, and endless tides danced beneath the moonless sky.

Last was Goldane, the giver of life.

Where his power touched the world, life awakened. Trees grew tall and ancient, beasts roamed the wild lands, birds filled the skies, and countless creatures were born to inhabit the world.

Together, the three gods admired their creation.

But they were not yet satisfied.

They infused the world with magic, polishing it like a masterpiece. The air shimmered with unseen power, and wondrous creatures roamed the lands — beings both beautiful and terrifying.

The world was divided into five great lands, each shaped by the essence of creation:

The Land of Luminous Flame

The Land of Thaloun Grass

The Land of Virelith Stone

The Land of Aurendyl Air

The Land of Feredore River

These were the five main lands, the pillars of the world. Many smaller lands and islands existed, but none held the same importance as these great realms.

Yet despite the beauty of the world, something was missing.

It was empty.

So the three gods decided to create a new form of life — beings who could think, build, and shape the world with their own hands.

They created humans.

Humans spread across the five lands, living alongside the creatures the gods had made. They built homes, formed communities, and slowly learned to survive in the world gifted to them.

For centuries, humans lived peacefully. They worshipped the gods, offering prayers and gratitude for the world they had been given.

The voices of countless beings praising them filled the heavens, and the gods felt something rare.

Appreciation.

For thousands of years, humanity lived and prospered.

But eventually, the gods became curious.

They wondered just how far humans could go.

How powerful could they become?

How creative could their minds truly be?

So the three gods decided to give humanity something extraordinary.

They granted them a mysterious energy — not simply stamina or strength, but a force capable of creating power itself.

This divine energy became known as:

The Sundane Force

However, Kaelryn proposed something unusual.

She suggested that the power should not be simple.

Instead, it should be complex and limitless, allowing humans to experiment, explore, and discover countless possibilities within it.

Sundred and Goldane agreed.

And so the Sundane Force was born.

This energy existed deep within the soul of every living being. Those who trained their mind and body could awaken it, shaping it into powerful abilities and magical forces.

Within a hundred years, humanity began to explore the Sundane Force in remarkable ways.

They created new forms of magic, powerful techniques, and unimaginable abilities.

Some individuals mastered the Sundane Force and became known as Mages, people capable of bending the energy of their souls into devastating power.

But not everyone could awaken it.

Those who lacked the ability turned to artifacts — enchanted gems, stones, and weapons infused with the Sundane Force. Through these objects, even ordinary people could wield fragments of the divine energy.

The deeper someone explored the Sundane Force, the more powerful they became.

But there was a terrifying truth behind this power.

The Sundane Force existed within the soul itself.

If a soul was devoured, the power within it would also be consumed.

And there were creatures in the world known as Soul Eating Witch who hungered for that power.

At first, humanity used the Sundane Force to build and improve their world.

But over time, something darker began to grow within them.

Greed.

Power created imbalance.

Some people became incredibly strong, while others remained weak. Those with power began to dominate those without it.

Soon, conflict spread across the lands.

Battles erupted.

Kingdoms clashed.

Entire civilizations fought for dominance and control over power.

The beautiful world the gods had created began to tear itself apart.

The three gods watched in silence.

And slowly, their disappointment turned into rage.

Furious at what humanity had become, the gods decided to reshape the world once more.

They filled the oceans with terrifying sea guardians, creatures powerful enough to destroy entire fleets.

They unleashed violent storms and devastating weather that could wipe out entire cities.

The world itself became dangerous.

Travel across the seas became nearly impossible.

But humanity refused to stop.

They built massive ships capable of withstanding the violent oceans. Using the Sundane Force, warriors fought the monstrous guardians of the sea while sailors struggled against the wrath of the storms.

Even as the world grew harsher, humanity continued to fight.

Wars raged across all five lands.

Kingdoms rose and fell.

Blood soaked the soil of the world the gods once cherished.

In one final attempt to guide humanity toward peace, the gods created a special race.

A race meant to lead humanity toward wisdom.

A race blessed with extraordinary power and divine purpose.

They were known as the Lightlock.

But even this final gift was corrupted.

Instead of respecting them, humanity abused their power, using them as tools for their endless wars.

At that moment, the gods realized something terrifying.

The greed of the beings they created was more dangerous than any monster they had ever made.

So the three gods stopped interfering.

They no longer tried to save their creation.

Instead, they simply watched from the heavens as their world slowly destroyed itself through war, greed, and endless battle.

And thus, the age of chaos truly began.
