Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: The Goddess of Creation

Chapter 3: The Goddess of Creation

"But first… follow me."

Jack paused, lowering his hand from the orb.

"…where we going?" he asked.

The guide didn't turn.

"To see the Creator."

Jack blinked.

"…yeah, you could've led with that."

They walked.

This time, the Hall of Champions didn't feel heavy—it felt… silent.

Respectfully silent.

As if even the classes themselves knew where they were headed.

The further they went, the more the world around them began to change.

Stone became grass.

Pillars faded into trees.

The cold air softened into a gentle breeze.

Until—

They stepped into a garden.

🌸 The Garden of Creation

It was… unreal.

Flowers glowed with soft light.

Petals floated through the air like drifting stars.

Trees shimmered with golden leaves.

And at the center of it all—

A throne.

Not of gold.

Not of stone.

But of living flowers, blooming endlessly.

The guide stopped.

Then—

He knelt.

Jack looked at him, confused.

"…we kneeling now?"

Before the guide could answer—

A voice echoed through the garden.

Gentle.

Warm.

Yet carrying authority beyond comprehension.

"You may enter."

Jack felt it.

That presence.

Not crushing like Kalamar.

Not cold like Eve.

But…

Absolute.

They stepped forward.

And then—

He saw her.

She rested upon the throne as if the world itself existed for her comfort.

A woman.

Beautiful didn't even begin to describe it.

Her presence was harmony itself.

Creation… given form.

Jack froze.

"…yeah… that's definitely a goddess."

Her eyes opened slowly.

And when they did—

The garden seemed to bloom brighter.

"Avalon," she said softly.

"It has been a while."

The guide bowed his head deeper.

"My dear goddess."

Her lips curved slightly.

"I wonder… what brings you here?"

The guide spoke carefully.

"I assume it has reached you that the Princess has gone missing."

Melyssa tilted her head slightly.

"Yes… it has."

Her gaze drifted for a moment, as if listening to distant echoes.

"I was wondering what all the commotion was about."

The guide gestured toward Jack.

"Well… this mortal has been entrusted with bringing the Princess home safely."

For the first time—

Her eyes moved to Jack.

And everything stopped.

Jack felt exposed.

Seen.

Not just his body—

But his thoughts.

His soul.

"…yeah… I don't like that," he muttered under his breath.

The guide continued.

"And he has chosen…"

A pause.

Even he hesitated.

"…the Juggernaut Class."

Silence.

Then—

Melyssa laughed.

Soft at first.

Then fuller.

A sound so beautiful it almost didn't match the words that followed.

"I have heard mortals were audacious…"

She leaned forward slightly.

"But who knew they were this… bold?"

Her eyes locked onto Jack.

Sharp now.

Curious.

Dangerous in their own way.

"What makes you think you can handle the Juggernaut Class…"

Her voice lowered.

"…where all others have failed?"

Jack didn't look away.

Didn't kneel.

Didn't flinch.

"I got ideas," he said.

The guide's eyes widened slightly.

Melyssa's smile deepened.

"Oh?"

She rested her chin on her hand.

"Then speak."

Jack took a step forward.

"My name's Jackson."

She raised a brow.

"Call me Melyssa," she replied.

Jack nodded.

"Aight… Melyssa."

The guide nearly choked.

Jack continued.

"Have you ever heard of Liquid Antumanium?"

Melyssa's expression didn't change—

But the garden did.

The air shifted.

Subtly.

"Yes," she said.

"A theoretical substance."

Jack smirked.

"Not theoretical."

He raised his hand slightly.

"It's a metal that can transform into any solid form."

Melyssa's eyes sharpened now.

Real interest.

"And?"

Jack stepped closer.

Confidence building.

"Now imagine this…"

His voice lowered.

"What if a body was made entirely out of it?"

Silence.

The flowers stopped moving.

The wind paused.

Even the light seemed to listen.

Jack continued.

"A body that can reshape itself…"

"Adapt…"

"Reinforce…"

His eyes locked onto hers.

"Wouldn't that be strong enough to handle the Juggernaut Class?"

No one spoke.

Not the guide.

Not the wind.

Not even the garden.

Then Jack added—

"And if you combine that…"

"With a regeneration core…"

A grin slowly formed.

"Now you got something that can survive anything."

Silence.

Deep.

Heavy.

Melyssa's hand moved slowly to her chin.

Her eyes unfocused for a moment.

Thinking.

Processing.

Calculating something far beyond mortal understanding.

Then—

Her lips parted slightly.

"…interesting."

The guide looked at her in shock.

"My goddess… you can't be serious—"

She raised her hand.

He fell silent instantly.

Her gaze never left Jack.

"A body that cannot break…"

She murmured.

"A core that cannot die…"

Her eyes gleamed.

"And a class with no limits…"

The garden trembled slightly.

Not in fear—

But in excitement.

Then she smiled.

A real smile this time.

Bright.

Genuine.

Dangerous.

"Jackson…"

Her voice carried a new tone now.

"You may be the first mortal in a thousand years…"

She leaned forward.

"…to say something worth hearing."

Jack grinned.

"I get that a lot."

Melyssa stood.

And when she did—

The entire garden bowed.

Flowers bent.

Trees lowered.

Reality itself seemed to acknowledge her movement.

"If what you say is true…"

She raised her hand.

Light gathered.

"…then we will not simply give you a class."

The air pulsed.

"We will create a vessel."

Jack's grin widened.

"…now we talking."

Melyssa's voice echoed through the garden.

"Prepare yourself, Jackson."

Her eyes glowed faintly.

"Because if this fails…"

A pause.

Just enough.

"…you will not die."

Jack's expression shifted slightly.

"…then what happens?"

Her smile didn't fade.

"You will wish you did."
