Redwood forest-Night
Zane walks slowly through the forest, leaves crunch beneath his feet, the forest seemed to spin around Zane. A distant howl echoed, Zanes pace quickened, he's breathing became rapid, as he trips over something landing face first onto the ground with a thud
He groans softly , getting to his feet he sees a dead deer on the floor, he takes a step back.
"Scared?"
A mysterious voice cuts through the air, Zane looks around
Zane: Whos there?
He's voice cracked slightly
Mysterious voice: You wouldn't know me but I know you Zane.
Suddenly a woman walks towards Zane she had black hair that jumped as she walked, her blue eyes lit up as they changed colour from blue to red
She walked towards Zane, her nails turning into claws she lets a loud and unatural growl, she lunged at him
Cruze house- morning 🌅
Zane cries out
Zane: Nooo!!
Hes hands flew to his throat, cold sweat ran down his forehead
Zane: just a dream
He sighs
Cut to Crues house the kitchen🌅
Zane walks down stairs, every step seeming heavier than the next.
Zane: mom!
He grabs he's bag on the table, he sees a letter on the table "Sorry Zane had to rush to the hospital, more and more patients today-Mom"
Zane looks at the letter, a knowing smile played on his lips
Redwood highschool-Day
Zane walks through the crowded halls of Redwood Highschool, He makes his way to his locker, he sees a poster on it
Zane: A party?
Kai, Zanes best friend appears next to Zane
Kai: Looks like you got it too
Kai said as he took out the same poster from his pocket
Zane: Why would we get invited to a party
Kai: everyones invited apparently they say it's a party that happens once a year
Zane grabs he's note book from his locker.
Zane: Hosted by Luna (he reads from the poster)
Kai: do you think she'll go out with me?
Zane: Yeah you'll get married, you'll have kids and dog named GG, No idiot Luna has rejected you five times already, yes I counted
Kai: wow! Real supportive Zane thanks alot
Zane and Kai walk past the principles office, Kai catches a glimpse of inside, two police men were speaking to Principal Andrews
Kai: hey that's my uncle
Zane: New case? (Looking over his shoulder)
They continue to walk
Kai: yeah I think so, my uncle has been on edge lately, maybe it's an adult thing
Zane: hey I'll catch up with you later, I need the bathroom
Kai nods and walks off, Zane walks into the bathroom, and sighs, the air seeming heavy on his shoulders, he enters a stall and closes it behind him, the door to the bathroom creeks open. Zane isn't alone in the bathroom, he gets out of the stall to see Edger the schools janitor, moping the floor
Zane: oh Edger hey (No response)
Zane: so uh um-
Edger: You know what tonight is?
Zanes eyes widened slightly, he swallows hard
Zane: N-not really
Edger: the full moon (he smirks)...the full moon
Intense music plays
Zane: What..what does that mean?
Edger: Oh you'll find out real soon
Zane steps back, hes breathing becoming hollow cold sweat danced on his forehead, Edger walked past Zane existing the bathroom, Zane let's out a sigh of relief.
EXT: Bathroom-Day 🌞
Zane walks out the bathroom, hes heart pounding against his chest. He sees two police men walk out the principles office, Zane stands there confused. The bell rings, making Zane jump slightlyz he shakes he's head and makes his way to hes next class
INT: Mr Roy's class room
Zane enters Mr. Roy's classroom, everyone had already taken their seats, Mr. Roy wrote on the board as Zane walked past him he said without looking at Zane
Mr. Roy: and where do you think your going?
Zane stops mid step and sighs
ZANE: Uhh..to my seat
Mr. Roy turned to face Zane.
MR. ROY: is that so..are you aware that your failing mid year?
Chuckles from the class rang out
ZANE: Yes sir I am aware
MR. ROY: I don't want you late in my class ever again got it...go take a seat
Zane makes his way next to Kai. As Zane is about to sit down Mr. Roy called out
MR. ROY: Not next to Mr. Walker
Zane moves to the back of the class behind Luna
He writes on his notebook, Mr. Roys lesson feeling endless, Zane looks up to out the window, hes eyes widening slightly, outside the window in the parking lot, Edger stood still looking directly at Zane, Zanes heart starts pounding, he quickly looks away, his vision blurring slightly, he slowly looks back to see if Edgar was still there, Edger had disappeared from where he had been, Zane raises hes eyebrow.
INT: Omar street-NIGHT🌕
Zane walks through Omar street, texting Kai on his phone, "are you there?" Kai texted, Zane immediately types back "almost are you?" Zane waits for a moment, before putting his phone in his pocket, as Zane walked through the street, he could hear dogs barking from other houses, the dogs barked violently as Zane walked past the houses, he stopped walking and looked around, the hairs at the back of his neck stood up.
Zane: What the hell?
He whispered to himself
He walked faster this time, the cold air feeling like a slap on his skin he ran fast, Zane stoped running and looked back as everything was silent, he was breathing hard as he looked forward he saw Luna's house, bright lights lit up the street and loud music played inside, Zane took out his phone comparing the house with a picture Kai had sent him.
Zane: fair enough
He shrugged his shoulders, entering the house, people danced and laughed filled the house, someone handed Zane a drink and he took it looking around for Kai he bumped into Luna
Luna: hey watch it loser
Zane stumbled back slightly
Zane: oh sorry-
Luna interrupted him
Luna: I don't want to hear it
Luna walks away, Zane stood there confused,
Zane: rude
He rolled his eyes, Zane stood outside near the pool where he watched as couples made out by the pulls Zane shook his head and took his phone out, "dude where are you?" he put his phone away he looked around catching something across the pool, it was Edger again he's movements were calm nobody seemed to see him but Zane, Zane quickly made his way out from the back and into the woods
INT: Redwood forest- Night
Zane ran through the forest, he slowed down looking around, he leans against a tree his breathing hard, he heard a branch snap hes head shot up, his face became pale as he saw glowing red eyes pointed to him, hes heart pounded agains his chest, the creature was not human, the creature walked closer baering it's claws at Zane, Zane quickly recovered and ran again, the creature grabbed Zane by the leg, sharp pain shot through him as it's claws dug deep into Zanes leg, it throws Zane far into a tree his body falling with a thud against the ground. The creature roared loud
