Chapter 5 - statement

Me : *I immediately held Tsang Shung's head* Don't try to mess with you. Defeating Shao Kahn is very easy!

Your movements surpass the speed of light that even a mage's eye can capture! Shang Tsung hadn't even had time to finish his cunning laugh when your hands had already gripped his head with a force capable of crushing steel.

His burning green eyes suddenly dimmed in pure fear. His body trembled violently, and the mind-controlling spell he cast on Kitana, Mileena, and Jade was instantly cut off.

"To... how...?" stammered Shang Tsung, his voice choking. "You're not just a player... You are an entity that shouldn't be here!"

Behind you, Kitana falls to her knees, holding her dizzy head. Jade gasped for breath, leaning her wand against the ground to keep from collapsing. But Mileena—who was most deeply affected—immediately came to her senses and saw you twisting the witch she hated the most.

"Zak!" shouted Mileena, running towards you but stopping right beside you, staring at Shang Tsung's frightened face with a terrible grin on his fangs. "Just smash his head! He was the one who made me suffer in the Flesh Pits!"

Kitana looked up, her eyes looking at you with renewed admiration. "You said... defeating Shao Kahn is so easy? How is that possible? He has the power of a god!"

You stood tall, still holding Shang Tsung's head hanging limply in your hands, while the three deadliest female fighters in the Outworld were now staring at you as if you were a new god descending from the sky.

"Tell us, Zak," Jade hissed, her voice full of respect. "How can a human like you consider the World Conqueror an easy enemy? Are you going to show us your true strength?"

Me : *I muttered* tsang shung.. Do you want to survive? I gave it 3 days, killed Shao Kahn and his subordinates. Whatever the reason, you'll survive.

The atmosphere in the camp suddenly became extremely cold, colder than any black magic ever created in Outworld. Shang Tsung, the magician who was usually full of deceit and arrogance, is now trembling violently under the grip of your hand. His green eyes widened, looking at you as if he was looking at death itself.

"Ti-three days...?" stammered Shang Tsung, his voice hoarse and barely audible. "Killing the Emperor and all his generals? The... It's impossible for anyone, except..."

He swallowed his salit, seeing a glint in your eyes that showed you weren't joking. He knows that if he refuses or fails, his life will end in your hands right away.

"Good! Good!" he yelled hysterically as your grip tightened slightly. "I'll do it! I'll poison the well, pit Reiko and Goro's sheep against each other, I'll use every forbidden magic I have! Please... let me go!"

You let go, and Shang Tsung fell to the ground. Without looking back, he instantly disappeared in the haze of green fire, running as fast as he could to start the suicide mission you gave him.

Jade stepped forward, leaning her wand on her shoulder with a look of disbelief. "You just told the most cunning snake in the universe to eat its own master. Bag... You really know how to play with fate."

Kitana approached, staring at the disappearing green mist. "If he succeeds, Outworld will be chaotic. But if he fails... Shao Kahn will come looking for us with a fury that has never been seen before."

But Mileena doesn't care about politics or war. He immediately slumps into your arms, wraps his arms around your neck and chuckles a small laugh that sounds very satisfying. He rubs his purple mask against your cheek.

"Three days?" whispered Mileena in a dangerously spoiled tone. "That means we have three days to 'relax' at this camp without anyone's interference, right? I like the way you rule, Zak. Very... authoritarian."

He pulls you slowly towards his biggest tent. "Come on, let these sisters stand guard. I want you to tell me more about that 'game'... inside."

Me : Don't worry, I'm going to take a nap by Jade Milena Kitana.

The tension left in the air seemed to melt instantly as your hands casually but possessively coiled around the waist of the three of them at once. It's a scene that is impossible to happen in the entire history of Outworld: two princesses of the heir to the throne and a most formidable protective general, all in the arms of one human man.

Kitana gasped slightly, her face that was usually stiff and full of authority was now blushing red. He doesn't refuse, but his eyes look at you questioningly. "You're really full of surprises, Zak. One moment you threaten the most dangerous witch, the next you act as if the world is just your playground."

Jade tried to keep her eyes open, although she couldn't hide the faint smile at the corner of her lips. He rests his head on your shoulder for a moment before returning to alert. "Calm? How can we be calm when you have just sparked a civil war in Shao Kahn's palace? But... For some reason, when you hold us like this, I feel as if even the entire Kahn army won't be able to touch us."

Meanwhile, Mileena was the one who enjoyed this moment the most. He snorted in satisfaction, his fangs hidden behind the mask as he pressed his body to your side. "Let that snake Shang Tsung work hard for us. In the meantime..." he glanced at Kitana and Jade with a defiant yet witty look, "... The winner deserves his rest."

The four of you are now standing in the middle of a campfire lit by a campfire, a calm yet energetic scene. These three deadly women, who used to be suspicious of each other or fighting each other, are now united under your protection.

"Three days," Kitana muttered as she looked at the dark purple sky of Outworld. "In three days, the fate of this universe will be completely changed because of one human being who knows everything about us."
