I narrow my sky blue eyes at Joon-ho's statement… Kota realising the tension waves his arms awkwardly…
"Why don't we put the sound barrier down and have breakfast?" Kota the elf suggests with wide brown eyes…
"No" Joon-ho turns his head his gaze sweeping over Kota with a glare…
"Joon-ho I will talk later… I am hungry right now…" I ignore Joon-ho coldly as I bring a bowl of delicious looking porridge closer to me…
"Hunger is meaningless—" Joon-ho answers with a wide smirk his red eyes staring at me mockingly "it's just a means of alert in which the body uses for nutrition finding…" he adds trying to sound intelligent…
"WoW—" I exclaim in a bored tone "you are such a smart human…" I try to hold my laughter for I could never tell jokes without laughing loudly…
"Fine… let's eat…" Joon-ho finally lifts a cup of dark coffee and sips it slowly…
"Yey food time!!!" Philip cheers happily as he digs into his bowl of rainbow cereal…
Marcy on the other hand just stared at me her eyes full of worry….
"Marcy can you help me with something?" I ask her as I sense her discomfort and help her get up and take her to the bathroom…
"Tell me anything… you are safe now…" I smile at her warmly as I close the door…
"Jina… I know this sounds weird… I know everything is strange right now… I know you have more important things to do and worry about—" she mutters her fingers fidgeting anxiously…
"Of course I will worry about you…" I hold her hands reassuringly "you are my friend after all…" I smile warmly…
"How can you say the word friend so lightly…?" She asks with a slight tremble in her words…
"W-We met yesterday… and the world ended yesterday…" she stutters heavily…
My eyes widen…
I forgot she wasn't a character… I forgot that the world as we know it… is gone… I have been going through all this as if it was a dream… yet it's real… there's no denying that fact… it must have been difficult for her… she knows nothing about the merged realms… or the Abyss… I already am panicking because of the white void… I can't imagine being in her place…
"Hold my hands tightly and breath…" I whisper quietly to Marcy… she looks up at me…
Then…
I close my eyes shut and try to filter every aura thread within this space… I pull out mine and Marcy's aura threads and connect them inviting her into my personal aura dimension… my inner mind…
Marcy gasps as she doesn't find herself in the bathroom but in a small apartment room with a mattress and floating letters in the air and a single chair in the middle of the room… on the chair sat an old dusty laptop…
I am beside her…
The personal aura dimension…. Is a space in which no one can interfere… it takes many names… inner mind…. subconscious mind… and what not…
It is made of one's memories and aura power… to manifest your dimension you will need immense amounts of imagination…
Which is simple for a writer…
And I invited Marcy here so as to tell her the truth…
In order for an alliance…
"Marcy this is my brain…" I turn my back to her and head towards the laptop…
"Brain? Can this Tuesday get any wilder?" Marcy says anxiously with a tone of disbelief….
"I invited you here to tell you the truth about me…" I put the laptop on its blue light flickering on my face…
"Jina? What do you mean by truth?" Marcy clenches her fists tightly…
"Have you ever wondered how I know all these facts about this apocalyptical situation…?" I tilt my head slightly as the laptop boots up directly into the writing software where the words of my teenage novel are there…
"Wait…. Are you the main character of some cheesy manhwa…? Are you a regrassor?" She asks as thoughts race into her mind…
"Worse… than that…" I sigh loudly as I read a cringe phrase from my novel I wrote as a teenager…
"I am the writer of this apocalypse…" I finally spit out the words with difficulty…
"What are you trying to say…?" Marcy holds her breath in anticipation…
"All this world around you all the monsters and people I wrote about them when I was thirteen years old…" I admit honestly…
Marcy opens her mouth widely her eyes narrow in disbelief…
"But what about me? what about uncle…. and you?" Marcy stood there in the tiny apartment room clueless about her next move…
"I am not sure but my book merged with reality…" I pat the spot on the floor next to me signalling Marcy to sit beside me…
"So you are telling me that somehow a cringe book you wrote as a teenager became reality…?" Marcy sits down next to me and stares at the laptop screen…
"So who's the main character Duke Kota…?" Marcy asks curiously…
"No… it's Joon-ho…" I answer her in embarrassment…
"You mean a psychopath is the main character?!?" She gasps…
"Were you abused or something as a kid?" Marcy tilts her head in genuine concern…
"I was bullied…" I say flatly…
"I am not sure if I can accept the fact that you wrote the apocalypse…" Marcy laughs awkwardly…
"But reading your original book here… is proof…" Marcy breathes out…
"I need your help Marcy…" I whisper quietly…
Then…
I explain to her everything…
And of course the white void…
"I will help you with everything I can…" Marcy nods after I finish narrating all my troubles…
"Thank you…" I smile with teary eyes…
"We need to go back to our shattered reality… because we look like we fainted on the bathroom floor…" I hold her hands tightly…
"Gross…" Marcy laughs…
We head back to reality…
And find ourselves on a healing chamber's bed…
"How did you open a personal aura dimension and invited your friend to it?" Joon-ho groans in pure disbelief…
"I want to know that aswell… because your world merged yesterday…" Duke Kota says in a tone full of suspicion…
I take a deep breath…
Then look at Marcy…
She nods reassuringly…
