Kiefer: "I used you… and the whole Section E knows."
What does he mean? I don't understand.
Me: "What… what do you mean?"
Kiefer: "I made you fall in love with me just to get back at Aries… and everybody in Section E new.
I looked at all of them—tears falling from my eyes. Every single one of them is new and didn't tell me. Even Ci-N, the one I treated like my brother. I feel so STUPID
I ran out of the classroom, crying hard, not noticing the street ahead. A car came speeding toward me—my heart stopped. But it screeched to a halt just in time. Percy jumped out.
Percy: "Baby sistha! Are you okay?!"
I whirled around, tears blinding me. Before he could react, I grabbed his ears—hard—and twisted them, making him yelp in surprise.
Percy: "Ouch! Jay‑Jay! What—"
Me, shaking with anger: "You ignored me for two years! Two years, Percy! You and Jare didn't even bother to reach out! Do you know how alone I felt?!"
Percy rubbed his ears, eyes wide, and then softened. "I… I'm so sorry, baby sistha. I never should've left you like that."
I let go, my chest heaving. "No excuses. Don't ever make me feel like that again. I'm not a child you can just forget."
Percy stepped closer, careful this time. "I promise, baby sistha… I'll never leave you alone like that again."
I wiped my tears roughly, my heart still pounding—part anger, part relief, and part something I couldn't name.
then we went to his car he gave me water to calm me down
percy: so what happend why are you crying so hard
i looked at still tears in my eyes rembering what kiefer told me i used and the whole section e now. i started to cry hard
Me, my voice trembling as fresh tears streamed down: "I… I can't believe it… Kiefer… he… he used me. He made me fall in love with him just to get back at Aries… And everybody in Section E knew… and nobody told me!"
Percy's grip tightened on the steering wheel as he listened, his expression shifting from worry to anger. "All of them knew… and you didn't?"
I shook my head violently, sobs catching in my throat. "Even Ci‑N… the one I trusted like a brother… he knew! And nobody told me!"
Percy inhaled sharply, a mix of guilt and frustration flashing across his face. "Jay‑Jay… I… I didn't know. I… I should have been there. I… I failed you."
I let out a shaky laugh, bitter and exhausted. "Failed me? You left me for two years! Two years without a word! Do you know how it felt to be completely alone?"
Percy's hands dropped to his lap, his head bowed. "I… I'm sorry. I can't change the past, but I swear… I'll never let it happen again. I'll protect you, baby sistha. Always."
I wiped my face roughly, still trembling. "You better not… or I swear, Percy, I won't forgive you this time."
The car was silent for a moment, just the sound of the engine humming. I sipped the water he handed me, letting it cool the burning in my throat. My heart still pounded, part anger, part fear, and part… relief that Percy was finally here.
percy: lets go eat okay
yea i was very hungry even after everything so i gave him a small nod , he started driving until we reached mac donalds seriously am i kid he orderd 20 happy meal!!!
me: percy how are you going to eat all that?!
percy: dont worry you will eat i will take the toys
