Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Blue Silver Emperor and Blue Silver Domain

"Blue Silver Grass with innate full spirit power?!"

"How's that even possible?"

Su Yuntao stared at the young boy's hand, totally thrown by what he saw. This Blue Silver Grass wasn't exactly the same as what you'd find by the roadside, but let's be real—it was still just Blue Silver Grass.

Tang Yin frowned. He knew better, though. With all those memories from another life—yeah, he was Tang San's twin, a transmigrator—he understood his spirit wasn't just ordinary Blue Silver Grass. It was the Blue Silver Emperor.

The leaves and branches of his Blue Silver Emperor spirit looked almost unreal, glinting like sapphires, pure and beautiful. Golden veins ran through the blue, marking it as something special, definitely not your usual roadside grass.

But what floored Tang Yin was this: he only had the Blue Silver Emperor as his spirit. No second spirit hiding inside him. So much for the whole twin spirits thing.

Guess even twins don't automatically get twin spirits.

While Tang Yin was still processing that weird fact, a deep blue light started to wrap around him. The glow swallowed up every inch of skin.

"What's happening?!"

Su Yuntao looked like he'd just seen a ghost. Tang San and the other boys, all fresh from their own spirit awakenings, were just as stunned.

Everyone's eyes locked onto Tang Yin as he changed right in front of them. His once delicate features sharpened; he got really good-looking, almost like he'd just stepped out of a painting. His pale skin turned fair, bright, and his black hair faded to blue.

Plus, he gave off a strange energy.

"Brother, you…" Tang San stepped closer, wide-eyed, having trouble linking this new Tang Yin with the one he knew a minute ago.

"I don't know. Maybe it's got something to do with the spirit awakening."

Tang Yin shook his head, still confused.

Su Yuntao was at a loss. "I've awakened spirits for years—seen countless Blue Silver Grass spirits. Never run into anything like this."

Tang San tugged at Su Yuntao. "Spirit Master, sir, it's my turn. I want to awaken mine too."

After seeing Tang Yin change so much, Tang San figured he might, as his twin, have the same luck.

But what Tang San didn't know was that only one Blue Silver Emperor could exist at a time, and unless the previous one died, a new one couldn't appear.

Su Yuntao, catching his breath, finally nodded. "Alright, come up."

Tang Yin stood aside, lost in thought. It had been six whole years since he suddenly landed in this world. At three, he shared chores with Tang San. At four, they looked after Tang Hao together. With the knowledge from before he transmigrated, he really understood just how cold Tang Hao—and the whole Clear Sky Sect—could be.

If you didn't awaken the Clear Sky Hammer spirit, your family barely cared about you. Tang Hao, in the original story, had little reaction when Tang San revealed his Blue Silver Grass spirit and innate full spirit power. But when he saw the Clear Sky Hammer? That was all it took—he hugged Tang San and cried with joy.

Talk about a huge difference.

"Another Blue Silver Grass spirit?"

"But yours looks no different from the stuff growing outside."

"Let's check your spirit power."

Su Yuntao sounded bored.

Tang San glanced at Tang Yin, worried, and pressed his right hand on the crystal ball. His left hand stayed clenched behind him.

Instantly, the ball lit up.

"Another innate full spirit power?!"

Su Yuntao's eyes got even wider.

Tang San looked relieved—if he had it too, maybe he'd change just like Tang Yin. But nothing happened.

Su Yuntao's sigh cut through the silence.

"Such a waste… Two boys with innate full spirit power, but both have useless spirits."

"For useless Blue Silver Grass to produce innate full spirit power—it's honestly tragic!"

"Will you join Spirit Hall? Even with Blue Silver Grass, innate full spirit power means you can become spirit masters."

Tang San replied politely, "Sir, I have to ask my father first."

Tang Yin nodded.

"Fine then."

Su Yuntao just sighed again, packed up, and left the hall.

Jack, the village chief, arrived outside, eager. "Spirit Master, sir, how'd it go? Any children from our village spirit masters this year?"

Su Yuntao barely looked at him and held up two fingers. "Yeah, two in total."

Jack was thrilled. "Really?"

"Really, but both spirits are useless Blue Silver Grass. At least a knife, sickle, hoe, something—but nope, just Blue Silver Grass." Su Yuntao left without another word.

Jack was left speechless.

Tang Yin, Tang San, and the others walked out soon after.

Jack stepped forward, asking, "Who's got innate full spirit power?"

Tang Yin answered, "Little San and I."

Jack studied Tang Yin, rubbing his eyes. "Who are you? I've never seen you before."

Tang Yin explained, "It's me, Tang Yin. I changed right after awakening."

Jack's jaw dropped. "You're Xiao Yin? Spirits are wild—they can make someone completely unrecognizable!"

"But Little San… why haven't you changed?"

Tang San scratched his head, embarrassed. "I'm not really sure."

Jack patted them both on the shoulder. "Don't feel down just because your spirits are Blue Silver Grass. You can still become spirit masters, and your future's wide open."

"Our village gets one work-study slot. I'll see if I can borrow another from a nearby village so you two can go study at the city's spirit master academy."

Tang San said, "Grandpa Chief, I need to ask my dad first."

"Of course." Jack smiled. "Let's go home now and I'll talk to Tang Hao along the way."

Outside the blacksmith shop, Jack shouted, "Tang Hao! Tang Hao! You lazy old pig, always sleeping! Your sons just awakened their spirits and you didn't even show up!"

Tang Hao appeared, annoyed, shoving the curtain aside.

"Jack, what're you yelling for?"

But when he saw Tang Yin, he froze.

Jack and Tang San watched as Tang Hao slowly walked over to Tang Yin, tears streaming down his face.

"Ah Yin…"

Jack said flatly, "Tang Hao, that's Tang Yin. He changed after spirit awakening. He's not Ah Yin."

Tang Hao jumped a bit, startled.

"Xiao Yin, show your spirit, let me see it!"
