Chapter 1 - A 18 year Boy Story

Chapter 1: The Beginning of Govind Gaur

The morning sun rose slowly over the ancient streets of Mathura, painting the sky in soft shades of orange and gold. The sound of temple bells echoed in the distance, mixing with the chatter of people starting their day.

Govind Gaur stood on the terrace of his small house, staring at the waking city. At 18, life was supposed to be exciting, full of dreams and direction. But for Govind, it felt confusing… heavy… like standing at a crossroads without a map.

He wasn't weak. He wasn't lazy.

He was just… lost.

"Govind!" his mother's voice came from downstairs. "You'll be late again!"

He didn't reply immediately. His eyes were fixed on the horizon, as if the answer to his life was hidden somewhere beyond the crowded streets of Mathura.

What am I supposed to do? he thought.

Everyone around him seemed to have a plan. His friends talked about colleges, careers, and big cities like Delhi and Mumbai. Some were preparing for competitive exams, some already pretending they had everything figured out.

But Govind?

He felt like he was just moving… without direction.

He slowly walked downstairs, where his father was already reading the newspaper.

"Results are coming soon," his father said without looking up. "You need to be serious now. This is not the time to waste."

Govind nodded quietly. He had heard this line a hundred times.

"I am trying, Papa," he said softly.

But deep inside, he wasn't sure if he really was.

Later that day, Govind sat alone near the ghat, watching the calm flow of the Yamuna River. People came and went—some praying, some laughing, some just living their lives.

He picked up a small stone and threw it into the water.

Ripples spread out slowly.

Maybe life is like this, he thought. One small decision… and everything changes.

But the real question was—

Which decision?

That evening, his phone buzzed.

It was a message from an unknown number:

"Your life is about to change. Be ready."

Govind frowned.

"Who is this?" he typed back.

No reply.

Just silence.

For the first time that day, something inside him shifted.

Confusion… turned into curiosity.

And without knowing it, Govind Gaur had just taken his first step into a journey that would change everything.
