Solomon's heart lurched in his chest as Bishop Adreline gave his confession.
He glanced at the piece of paper that the man was holding and saw that it was the prayer he had placed in the book at the library after the first few days of his transmigration.
I never expected it to fall into the hands of the bishop... If he received it any earlier, before being abandoned by Juniper, he would probably report it to the kingdom. From there, I might be marked as an evil god. The act could be seen as me trying to spread my religion throughout the kingdom, hoping to rival Juniper.
Solomon tried his best to mask his surprise, but he ended up being silent in the process.
The bishop laughed quietly, ashamed by his own words. "Sounds blasphemous, doesn't it? Coming from a leader of the religion itself. I wouldn't blame you if you decided to hit me right now. I might even present myself so that you could do more damage."
