CHAPTER 1

P-please... Jinhyuk, just let me go," Elin whispered, her voice trembling so hard it was barely audible over the idling hum of the car engine.

The Monster in the Suit

Jinhyuk stood by the car, looking like a dark god. He was dangerously handsome—the kind of beauty that made people stop breathing. His hair was black as ink, and his jawline was sharp enough to be a weapon. He was a millionaire whose name made the world's most powerful people shiver with fear, but to Elin, he was just her beautiful, terrifying nightmare.

Elin stood across from him, looking fragile and ethereal. She had loved Jinhyuk with her whole heart for three years, even while she was hiding from him. But she knew the truth.he didn't love her back. He was simply obsessed with owning her.

"Let you go?" Jinhyuk's face darkened, "I spent three years tearing the world apart to find you," he said, his voice dropping to a dangerous, low growl. "You think I did that to let you walk away again? You belong to me, Elin. Every bone in your body, every breath you take—it's mine.

I'll never belong to a monster like you! elin streamed

Jinhyuk took a slow step forward, his expensive leather shoes clicking against the road. "You think you had a choice?"

"You don't love me!" Elin cried, a tear tracing a path down her fair cheek. "You're obsessed! I'm not your toy, Jinhyuk!" Elin screamed, her voice shaking. "I left because I couldn't breathe! You don't love me—you just want to lock me in a cage!"

"I let you run because I wanted to see how far you'd go before you realized that the entire world is my backyard. You belong to me. Not because of love, but because I decided it." Jinhyuk snapped, his temper finally fraying.

He took a predatory step toward her, his eyes flashing with a sudden, violent heat. "You belong to me. Every breath you take is mine. I told you three years ago—you are the only thing in this world I cannot lose."

"I'd rather die than go back with you!" Elin shrieked, turning to bolt into the dark woods.

She didn't get five steps.

In a flash of pure, unhinged rage, Jinhyuk's self-control evaporated. He caught her arm, spinning her skinny frame around with terrifying strength. His temper, the monster that the world's elite whispered about in shadows, finally took over.

CRACK.

His hand struck her delicate face with a force that echoed through the silent trees. Elin didn't even have time to scream. Her head snapped back, and her small body hit the cold ground with a sickening thud.

The world went black for her instantly.

Jinhyuk stood over her, his chest heaving, his knuckles beginning to bruise. He looked down at her fair, unconscious face, seeing the red mark blooming on her cheek. A dark, chilling smirk spread across his lips as he knelt down and scooped her limp body into his arms.

"You make it so hard, Elin," he murmured, his voice almost tender as he kissed her forehead.a chilling smirk spreading across his lips. "You really shouldn't have run."

He scooped her limp, skinny body into his arms as if she were a precious prize. He didn't put her in the seat; he placed her in the back and locked the doors with a heavy thud. He drove away from the city, heading deep into the mountains toward a private estate that didn't appear on any map.

He was taking her somewhere where no one could ever find her. This time, there would be no escape.
