Chapter 3 - Demanding Her Price Tag

The atmosphere inside the luxurious office remained tense as the last intern of the day stepped in.

"Sir… one of them is here," Katlin announced softly.

Zalexander paused the scrolling on his tablet and lifted his gaze toward the door.

The young woman standing there immediately lowered her head the moment their eyes met.

His gaze was sharp, cold like winter water.

He studied her slowly, from the simple blouse buttoned to her neck to the long skirt that covered her legs completely.

Disapproval flickered across his face.

"Are you here to apply for a job," he asked lazily, "or are you recruiting yourself into a convent?"

The girl blinked in confusion, unsure whether he was joking."I… I beg your pardon, sir?"

His lips curved slightly, but there was no humor in his expression.

"This is an entertainment company, not a church. Your appearance suggests you misunderstood the assignment."

Her throat tightened. She had chosen the modest outfit deliberately, hoping professionalism would give her an advantage.

"Sir, I really need this job," she said, her voice trembling.

Zalexander didn't even look at her again."Fail."

The single word dropped like a hammer.

Her knees gave way as panic overwhelmed her.

"Please, sir… I'll do anything,I can learn,I can improve."

He continued tapping on his tablet as though she did not exist.

"You know I hate noise," he murmured."Katlin, would you like to join her outside?"

Katlin immediately helped the crying girl to her feet and led her out.

One by one, the remaining interns entered.

Each time, the verdict was ruthless.

"Too short,Fail."

"Too tall, Fail."

"Unattractive smile, Fail."

"Immature appearance,Fail."

By the end of the session, only three candidates remained.

Ortega watched his boss with mixed feelings. Zalexander had always been brutal in his decisions but today, he seemed even colder than usual.

"Is there anything else, sir?" he asked cautiously.

Zalexander leaned back on the couch, boredom evident in his posture.

"Yes," he said after a moment. "I need entertainment."

That same night, the dazzling lights of Drai's Clubhouse illuminated the Las Vegas skyline. Music pulsed through the air like a living heartbeat.

Inside the crowded venue, Limo moved gracefully between tables carrying a silver tray filled with glasses of expensive liquor.

"Thank you," she said politely as a customer took a drink and dropped cash onto the tray.

In less than thirty minutes, she had already sold dozens of drinks. Her confidence, beauty and magnetic aura drew attention effortlessly.

A man approached her with a drunken smile.

"Can I have you for the night? You're gorgeous."

She shot him a cold glare."Find another fantasy," she said sharply.

He muttered an insult before walking away.Limo rolled her eyes.

Moments later, her mood brightened when a familiar song began blasting through the speakers. It was her favorite track.

Without thinking, she abandoned her serving position and rushed toward the dance floor. The rhythm pulsed through her veins as she flipped her silky black hair and moved her body with wild, uninhibited energy.

Cheers erupted around her,But while the crowd admired her performance, one pair of eyes watched her with unsettling intensity.

From the VIP section, Zalexander sat calmly with a glass of wine in his hand. His gaze never left the dancing woman.

"Has someone finally caught your attention?" Ortega asked with curiosity.

Zalexander took a slow sip before answering.

"The tall one," he said quietly. "The one who dances like she owns the night."

Ortega nodded and made his way toward her,He gently tapped her shoulder.

"My boss would like to see you."

Limo stopped dancing and looked at him, still moving slightly to the rhythm of the music.

"Lead the way," she said with a confident smile.

When she reached the VIP lounge, her breath hitched. The man sitting there looked dangerously handsome, the kind of handsome that felt like trouble.

"What can I get for you?" she asked playfully. "A special drink, perhaps?"

Zalexander's lips curved faintly."You."

Her smile disappeared."I don't understand."

"My boss is offering you more than a drink," Ortega explained bluntly.

Realization dawned on her face."Excuse me?" she scoffed, folding her arms.

"You've caught my interest," Zalexander said. "Name your price."

Anger flashed in her eyes."I'm not for sale."She turned to leave.

"Don't take another step," he warned.

His voice was calm but dangerously firm.

He rose from his seat and walked toward her until he stood towering over her.

"Every woman has a price," he murmured.

Before she could react, his arm were already wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer.

Shock froze her body,His hand pressed firmly against her curves.

Something inside her snapped…With swift reflexes, she pushed herself free and delivered a powerful kick straight to his face.

Gasps filled the lounge as Zalexander staggered backward and fell.

"Stay away from me!" she shouted, breathing hard.
