Morning felt unreal.
Aarav stepped into the corridor and saw the door.
Room 13.
Locked. Dusty. Untouched.
But the wood looked… scratched.
Like someone had tried to claw their way out.
He found the caretaker downstairs.
"There's someone inside Room 13," Aarav said.
The old man's face went pale.
"No one lives there."
"I heard them."
The caretaker leaned closer.
"You hear it again… don't answer."
Aarav frowned. "Why?"
"Because it won't stop."
