Aria's POV
The meeting ran for another two hours going over Viktor's western operation in detail.
Serena's intelligence was good, specific, the kind you got from someone who'd done real work rather than just heard rumors.
By the end we had a significantly clearer picture of what Viktor was building and where the weak points were.
When it finally broke up Marcus took Serena to get her settled in the guest quarters and I walked with Lucian to the kitchen because I needed coffee and because we needed to talk without an audience.
"She's useful," I said.
"Yes."
"Her intelligence on the western operation is genuine. You could see it in the detail level." I poured coffee and handed him a cup. "I don't like her."
Lucian looked at me over his cup. "Aria."
