Chapter 7 - Seraphine’s Seduction

Next morning, Lucifer ordered some of his guards to prepare the execution room no one dared ask who it was for but the whispers spread fast—some feared it might be for the new queen.

They pitied her, they knew she wouldn't lasy a week beside him before she dies.

A guard hurried forward bowed low, voice trembling, "Your Highness… you have a visitor."

"Who?" Lucifer snapped, eyes narrowing crimson.

"It's Lady Saraphine, your majesty," the guard stammered, stepping back instinctively.

Lucifer hissed low, a sharp sound cutting through the hall, he disliked Lady Seraphine, she was the second in command and she always threw herself on him, before he gave the permission to let her in he already saw her from afar.

Her slender figure swayed, curves shifting subtly, hair catching the morning light as her hips moved from side to side.

When she reached him she bowed deeply, tilting her head, lips curling into a smirk that danced between teasing and challenge, "Your majesty," she said softly, voice smooth like silk yet sharp enough to cut, eyes glinting with mischief.

"I heard you got married," Seraphine said, eyes wide, voice teasing but sharp, glancing around like she couldn't believe it.

"I wasn't invited to the bride's crowning ceremony," she added, smirk tugging at her lips.

"I didn't invite you because I knew you'd make a big scene out of it," Lucifer said coolly, voice low, eyes crimson on her.

"Ahhh," she purred jokingly, tilting her head, smirk dancing, "but I would have to see the new bride."

Her eyes flicked toward him, then back to his face, a teasing challenge hiding beneath the words.

"Is she prettier than me?" Seraphine asked, a hint of jealousy sparking in her tone, the faintest bite to her smirk.

"I can't fathom why you would go ahead and marry a mere debtor's daughter," Seraphine hissed, stepping closer.

"Sermon stole from you, he and his daughter should be executed immediately, yet you went ahead to marry her?"

"I'll be a better queen for you," Seraphine said, moving forward, hips swaying subtly, every step deliberate, every motion designed to mesmerize. Her voice dripped with seduction, soft yet sharp, "I have been under your rule for years, submissive, loyal, obedient. You should discard her and take me instead."

"Get back!" Lucifer barked, crimson eyes flashing, voice slicing through the hall like steel.

Seraphine froze mid-step, smirk faltering for just a fraction as the weight of his command hit her.

"Don't ever discuss this with me again," Lucifer barked, crimson eyes flashing, voice sharp enough to cut stone, "I've chosen a wife and she stays."

For a moment he forgot his earlier intention of executing anyone, forgetting even the plan to punish the new bride. His jaw clenched, body tense, shadows curling closer as his anger built.

Seraphine's eyes widened, a flicker of shock cutting through her teasing confidence, but he barely noticed her. Her constant lust, her brazen provocations, had worn on him, pushed him past patience, blurred every other thought.

Lucifer was tired if Seraphin's constant lust towards him, she always forces herself on him with every given chance.

"If you don't discard her I'll do it myself," Seraphine hissed, words sharp, venom laced with desire and rage, not realizing the weight of what she just said

Lucifer's crimson eyes snapped to hers, piercing, sharp, cold enough to freeze blood "What did you just say? Did you just threaten me?" His voice rolled over her like thunder, shaking the very air

She froze mid-step, words suddenly choking in her throat, realizing too late who she was daring to toy with

She bowed quickly, head low, body trembling slightly, every instinct screaming danger "I… I'm sorry your highness" she whispered, fidgeting, voice small, "It was a slip of tongue your highness" she says shaking fearing he may murder her with just a stare.

"I'll be heading to Earth," Lucifer said, voice low, sharp, leaving no room for argument "keep this place intact while I'm gone"

"Earth?" she questioned, eyes widening, heart skipping a beat she knew he went there every seven days but the fact he was telling her he might spend longer unsettled her more than she wanted to admit

"Okay, your highness," Lady Seraphine replied, head bowed so low it almost touched the floor "I'll do my best"

"Your Highness! Your Highness!" Lagartha shouted, worry thick in her voice, shaking Nanisha gently, "Wake up, please!"

Lagartha's worry deepened, fingers gripping her shoulder lightly, heart hammering, "Please… you must get up, your highness, there's… there's a problem " Lagartha says with worry.

Nanisha finally blinked fully awake, hair tousled, voice small and groggy, "Mmm… what's happening?"

"Your Highness," Lagartha said, voice trembling, tears streaming down her face, "I think the king wants you executed today"

Nanisha's eyes went wide, heart hammering in her chest, every breath catching in panic "I'm… I'm gonna die today?" she screamed.

They were both moaning nervously, panic thick in the air, when suddenly Lucifer stepped in, presence filling the room, shadows tightening around him.

Lagartha bowed quickly, giving them space, eyes wide, heart hammering, knowing better than to stay.

"Get prepared," he said, voice low, sharp, commanding, "you're going to…"

Nanisha froze, heart thudding violently in her chest, mind racing, to… to where? To be executed?

Lucifer's crimson eyes met hers, expression unreadable, "We're going to a meeting together, and be well dressed," he finished, voice calm, almost teasing, leaving her chest still pounding but relief and confusion warring inside her.

"I was meant to kill you today, but I'm too busy for that," Lucifer said, voice calm, almost casual, crimson eyes piercing her. "You die tomorrow."

"What?" Nanisha snapped, eyes flashing, chest heaving. "Why are you saying it so normally?"

"You're going to kill me, and it's nothing to you?" she yelled, anger bubbling over, frustration sharp as a knife. She folded her arms across her chest, glaring at him from the bed, lips pressed tight, trembling with a mix of fear and rage.

"Just… just kill me now!" she spat, voice cracking slightly, daring him to act, to end it, to put an end to the panic hammering in her chest.
