The weekend was over and it was Monday again, Amara heads to D'Artois group. They usually have meetings on Mondays but this meeting was different
The charity gala was mentioned again but this time they were going into details of the gala
Lucian after the briefing of all departments
The charity gala is going to handled by the head of HR and marketing department. A slender woman in her mid 30's stood up and dived directly into details.
"This s gala will be held in a luxury restaurant, I want it to be a prestige event and the talk of the country.
Every of the invite will be printed luxury and will only be handed to VIP's, politicians, celebrities, basically men and women of caliber.
No influencer or paparazzi will be allowed in to keep the mystique of the event". she went further to say
"It will be a silent auction, the theme décor will black and gold with a touch of white.
There'll be performances from live bands, celebrities and orchestra. The purpose of these gala is youth entrepreneurship, the money gotten will be put into youth entrepreneurship.
It will have a 3 to 5 course dinner, there will be wine, champagne, cocktail services.
I have put it together a rough sketch of the procession which would include the red carpet reception, which will be taken by a professional photographer chosen by the president, cocktail hour, entertainment fundraising segments, closing remarks.
Every staff is allowed to bring a +1 and will be allowed on the red carpet.

Lucian stands up and explains

After the meeting was concluded Amara about her day moving around with her notepad and pen jotting down her observations as usual.
After work amara goes home, on getting home she notices a package on her doorstep addressed to her. she grabs the package and enters her house, she drops her package on the center table.
she didn't order anything, she then D'Artois groups written on the side. she opens the package and sees the invitation to the gala it was only prestige it was also grandeur.
The package was in a glass box with a white bow amara opens the box and there was a silver pain with crystals around it and there it was the invitation amara was shocked by the hand written calligraphy. "This could have caused a lot money" amara blurted out. The invitation specifically here name hand written and there was a plus one invite written too.
Amara was excited and giddy like a child although this was not the first gala she had attended but the first gala she was personally invited to. she called her friend Tess and told her about the events and everything including asking her to be her plus one.
Tess agrees immediately, Amara and tess then went on normal friends conversation about their lives.
Tess suddenly says
"Oh Amara the event you told me about, from the way you described it it's going to be the talk of the whole country."
"I mean that's their plan" Amara answers
"Why didn't you lead with that
We are ordinary people but we can't look like one I mean we have to put in efforts
Get our nails done, eyelashes done, hair
Heck even get new clothes."
"Hey! Tess you are going overboard
Nobody is going to notice besides, I'm there to work"
"Who said you couldn't look hot and so your job, I don't see where it's forbidden
Don't be a buzz kill"
Amara was a bit r reluctant gave in to Tess ' position.
"Oh, I Oh, oh,ot to ask when the event will take tess asks"
"um… the gala would take place our 2 weeks from now, actually 2 and a half weeks from now, for some reason they are holding events on a Wednesday evening. Weird right but they are giving us Thursday Friday and off, so off, am I going to complain" Amara to? tells Tess.
