Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – The Man With No Past

The first thing he felt was cold, a deep and biting cold that seeped into his bones and refused to let go no matter how much he tried to move. His eyes slowly opened to a gray sky stretching endlessly above him, unfamiliar and distant like a world he had never seen before. The faint sound of cars echoed around him, reminding him that life was moving on even as he lay there in confusion.

He blinked slowly, trying to gather his thoughts, but nothing came to him no matter how hard he tried to think. His voice came out hoarse as he whispered, "Where am I?" while forcing himself to sit up despite the pain in his body. The rough concrete beneath him and the shadow of a large bridge made it clear that he had been lying there for a long time without knowing.

He looked around carefully, scanning every direction as if something would suddenly become familiar, but nothing did. The air, the place, even the feeling of his own existence felt strange and disconnected from him. Then a more terrifying thought crossed his mind as he muttered softly, "Who am I?" and was met with nothing but silence.

With no answers, he slowly stood up, his legs trembling slightly before he managed to balance himself. As he walked out from under the bridge and into the open street, something unexpected began to happen around him. People started turning their heads, their eyes lingering on him longer than normal, as if they had just seen something unbelievable.

At first, he ignored it and continued walking, but the stares became more obvious with every step he took forward. A woman slowed down as she passed him, clearly distracted by his presence, while another man nearly stumbled because he couldn't stop looking at him. Whispers followed him quietly, filled with shock and curiosity, yet he didn't understand why.

He eventually reached a small gas station and stepped inside, where the cashier immediately froze the moment she saw him. Her eyes widened slightly, and for a second, she forgot what she was doing as she stared at him without blinking. Standing there was a man whose appearance was beyond ordinary, a face so perfectly sculpted it felt almost unreal to look at.

His jawline was sharp and defined, his skin smooth and flawless without a single imperfection, and his lips naturally shaped in a way that made him look both soft and dangerously attractive at the same time. His eyes were deep and captivating, holding a strange mystery that even he didn't understand, as if they carried memories he could not reach. His hair fell to his shoulders in soft layers, red at the top and fading into white at the bottom, giving him an almost ethereal presence that made him impossible to ignore.

Ignoring the stares around him, he walked straight into the restroom, feeling an urgent need to clean himself and calm his thoughts. He turned on the tap and splashed cold water onto his face repeatedly, hoping it would clear his mind and ease the strange tension building inside him. His breathing slowly steadied as he leaned on the sink, gathering what little control he had left.

Then he lifted his head and looked into the mirror, and the moment his eyes met his reflection, everything seemed to stop. The man staring back at him was too perfect, too unreal, as if he didn't belong to the same world as everyone else. He raised his hand slowly and touched his face, trying to confirm that what he was seeing was real.

Before he could understand anything, a sharp pain suddenly exploded in his head, causing him to grip the sink tightly to keep himself from falling. Fragments of something unknown flashed through his mind, broken and unclear but filled with strong emotion. He saw a young woman resting her head against his chest, a feeling of warmth and comfort surrounding them, yet her face remained completely hidden from him.

The pain grew stronger as he tried to focus on the image, but it slipped away no matter how hard he tried to hold onto it. "Who are you?" he whispered, his voice trembling as the vision disappeared completely. The sudden loss of that moment left him more confused than before, and the pain forced him to stagger out of the restroom.

He rushed outside, breathing heavily as the world around him felt overwhelming and unstable. The noise, the light, and the pressure in his head made it impossible for him to think clearly, and all he wanted was to escape from it. Without realizing it, he began to run, moving faster with each step as if something was chasing him.

"Hey, watch out!" someone shouted, but it was already too late to react or stop. A loud impact echoed as a motorcycle crashed into him, sending his body forward before everything went dark instantly. The world disappeared, leaving nothing but silence behind.

The woman riding the motorcycle quickly got off, her heart racing as panic took over her expression. She rushed toward him, afraid of what she might have done, but when she saw his face clearly, she froze for a moment. Even unconscious, he looked unbelievably handsome, his features calm and perfect in a way that made it hard to look away.

She shook her head quickly, forcing herself to focus on the situation instead of her thoughts. Checking his breathing, she let out a small breath of relief when she realized he was still alive. With no time to waste, she decided to take him to the hospital immediately, knowing it was the only thing she could do.

After getting him there and waiting anxiously, the doctor finally came out with a report that eased her fears slightly. He explained that there were no serious injuries, only exhaustion and the need for proper rest and nutrition. Hearing that, she felt a wave of relief, though guilt still remained in her heart.

After some time, his eyes slowly opened again, and the first thing he saw was the unfamiliar ceiling of the hospital room. The woman quickly noticed he was awake and moved closer, her face filled with concern and curiosity at the same time. She began asking him questions one after another, trying to understand who he was and where he came from.

He stared at her quietly, realizing that he had no answers to give, and then a thought crossed his mind. "You hit me," he said calmly, his voice steady despite his condition, which immediately made her freeze. She tried to explain, but he continued, "I don't remember anything," making the situation even heavier.

Her expression softened as she realized the seriousness of his condition, and guilt began to take over her emotions. After a moment of silence, she made a decision she didn't fully think through. "You'll come with me," she said firmly, deciding to take responsibility for what had happened.

He looked at her for a moment before nodding slightly, accepting the situation because he had no other choice. With no past, no identity, and nowhere to go, he followed the only path available to him. And just like that, without either of them realizing it, their lives became connected in a way that would change everything.
