I—Huà Dìe—never thought I'd bring Wèi Yīlíng to life.

As they say, life gives you what you wished for in the most unexpected way. I felt that deeply.

I'm the middle child of a famous family: my father and brother are actors, my mother is a singer, and my little sister is... well, little.
 Dad always wanted me to follow his path. But I never wanted the spotlight—I just wanted to write songs in peace.

The director of this new danmei adaptation, Reincarnated As The Tearstone Blade, needed a "fresh face with the natural features of Wèi Yīlíng." And somehow, I had them. So my father threw me into the lights and said:

"Let my beloved son be him. I'll at least voice Dark Voice—I have ten other movies to work on anyway!"

And that's when my life became a rollercoaster.

First time acting. Zero experience. IN A BL DRAMA.

Who needs a heart attack when you have a father like this? I don't know what to feel—he wasn't completely wrong to dream, but he wasn't completely right either!

Then I met my co-workers.

The second lead—Hàng Wàng Wùjī of the story—is played by Ròng Yù, a trendy actor known for historical dramas. Too flirty for me, honestly. I don't know how he fits Wùjī's character when he feels so cheeky even speaking normally.

Yet through the lights, cameras, and action, we built a strange friendship. It feels like our roles switch after the cuts. He gets Wèi's soul– Chaotic. I get Wùjī's– peace lover.

My father said the "love" in our eyes would just be acting.

But now I wonder—did it stay in the boundaries?

Or is it turning into something else entirely?

The main story—Reincarnated As The Tearstone Blade—has been with me for a long time. It's original version– System Tearstone with 160+ chapters. Countless rewrites. Rejections. Doubts. And still, it survived between hearts. Still, it grew. Still, it found you who stayed.


That book is my heart. My firstest, longest, deepest, most detailed work.


And I want it to have the path it deserves.


So before its polished version arrives, I'm giving you this: a story about the people who will bring it to life. Actors. A family. A boy named Huà Dìe who never asked for the spotlight but got thrown into it anyway.


This book is lighter. Playful. Modern. Written in first person—something I usually find cringe( for some reasons )


but here it fits. Because this story is intimate. Personal. Just one voice.


I'm writing it now, during exam season, because I can't stress over the main series right now. ( Even the side novel too!!)


I love it too much to rush it. So consider this a warm-up. A gift. A bridge.
