Chapter 2 - When Silence Spoke to Allah

Ayesha sat near the window, watching the sky slowly turn dark. The world outside was noisy, but inside her heart, everything felt… quiet and heavy.

"Why does it feel like Allah is not listening to me?" she whispered, tears slowly falling.

She had been making the same dua for months. Every night. Every sujood. But nothing seemed to change.

Just then, her phone buzzed.

It was Zain.

Zain: "Sometimes Allah is silent because He's preparing something bigger than what you asked for."

Ayesha stared at the message. Her heart softened a little.

Later that night, she sat on her prayer mat again. This time, her dua was different.

"Ya Allah… even if You don't give me what I want, give me sabr. Give me strength. And never let me go away from You."

Her tears didn't stop—but for the first time, they didn't feel heavy.

From the kitchen, Ammi called softly,

"Ayesha, beta… Allah listens to every broken heart. Don't lose hope."

Ayesha closed her eyes.

Maybe… this silence wasn't rejection.

Maybe… it was a test of her faith.

And maybe… Allah was listening all along.

Sometimes Allah don't give us what we want but...but...but .. Allah will give you that what is best for you . He is shaping your heart, your patience, and your faith.

Keep making dua. Keep trusting.
