Mizuki's POV,
Finally the bell of the oven chimed, signifying that the muffins are ready, i took them out and glazed them settled them on the table. Then went upstairs to surprise the girls.
But froze when i stepped in and saw...her.
Now that her bangs were cutely styled on her forehead and stopping just above her long lashes, hairs smooth and falling gracefully on her shoulders... And those eyes... Ocean blue eyes... Looking in mine.
"h-hey" i managed, then cleared my throat and looked away for a moment when realised i was staring.
She looked at me with those enormous eyes and waved softly "hi..."
I looked at her again and smiled softly, then took a step forward. Ayame and akemi's squeaks are audible from the bathroom, but i have something more important to focus on right now.
"you look... Good"
The corner of her lips curled into a faint smile... Which stole the breath out of my lungs. The way her eyes crinkled softly "Thankyou..." her soft whisper made my heart skip a beat and i was about to smile back in response when the bathroom door burst open. A slick backed ayame with purple steaks running down her forehead, grinned. Hands on her hips and Akemi admiring her like an artist admiring their master peice.
