After everyone left, Uchiha Ran looked at Uchiha Sasuke.
"Sasuke, tonight was a bit rushed. How about Naruto sleeps in your room for now? Tomorrow I'll have another room built next to yours. Once it's finished, you can separate."
"No problem," Sasuke replied with a grin.
Ran nodded, then turned to several servants.
"Tomorrow morning, go to the tailor and have the most expensive and comfortable clothes made to Naruto's measurements. As a member of the Uchiha clan, and as my disciple, he can't be dressed so plainly."
He then looked at Naruto.
"Naruto, what color do you like?"
Naruto hesitated, then looked up timidly.
"Orange… I think."
Ran nodded. The servant immediately took out a ruler and carefully measured Naruto, recording his size and preferences.
This was no joke—this was the Hokage's disciple, the clan head's only disciple, and potentially a future pillar of the clan. Carelessness was unacceptable.
Naruto's eyes reddened. This was the first time anyone had cared about what he wore.
Before he could finish being moved, Ran took out a scroll.
"Here are two million ryo. This is your allowance for this month. Sasuke gets the same."
"As my disciple, you won't suffer. If you need more, just ask."
Ran smiled and patted Naruto's head.
Naruto hurriedly waved his hands.
"No! Hokage-sama, that's too much! Just give me three thousand ryo—three thousand is enough for ramen and milk!"
Ran's expression darkened. He ground his teeth, thinking that Hiruzen Sarutobi's punishment had been far too light. Three thousand ryo a month—how could anyone let a child live like that?
Sasuke glanced nervously at Ran and quickly said, "Naruto, just take it. All the villages are preparing reparations for Konoha right now. Konoha is rich. Compared to the gifts those envoys gave my second brother, this is nothing."
Sasuke knew very well: offending his father meant extra training, offending his elder brother meant being ignored—but offending his second brother meant disaster.
Naruto hesitated, looked at the scroll, then at his future teacher, and finally nodded.
"Thank you, Hokage-sama. I, Naruto, will repay this kindness in the future!"
Ran chuckled.
"Still calling me Hokage-sama?"
Sasuke smacked Naruto on the head.
"Idiot. Call him Teacher."
Naruto froze, then bowed seriously.
"Hello, Teacher!"
"Good," Ran said with a smile. "This is the last gift for today."
He released chakra, manifesting Susanoo's second form, and spoke calmly.
"Kurama, I know you can hear me. This child is my disciple. If you interfere with his chakra cultivation again, don't blame me for coming in and beating you myself."
"I'm not as merciful as Kushina. Think carefully."
Inside the seal, Kurama clenched his teeth, then finally lay down, sending out a grudging chakra fluctuation.
"I know… Uchiha Ran."
Ran withdrew his chakra and patted Naruto's head.
"Tomorrow, I'll teach you proper chakra extraction. What the Academy teaches is only the most basic. If theirs produces ten units a day, the Uchiha method produces fifty."
Naruto was stunned and looked at Sasuke, who nodded. He had tested both techniques himself—the difference was obvious.
"Teacher," Naruto asked innocently, "why not teach everyone the better method?"
Ran paused, then spoke calmly.
"Because it's the foundation of a clan. Would you give away the money your mother left you to a stranger?"
Naruto thought for a moment, then nodded firmly.
"I would."
Ran's face twitched.
Sasuke hurriedly whispered, "Naruto, stop. Your teacher's face is terrifying."
Naruto swallowed and nodded obediently.
Ran exhaled slowly.
"Listen carefully. Anything I teach you cannot be passed on without my permission. Understand?"
Naruto nodded seriously. He believed in equality, but he also understood respect for one's teacher. Even without this warning, he wouldn't teach others casually.
Rasengan was an exception.
Ran recalled the original timeline—Naruto had only taught Rasengan, a technique created by Minato. That didn't concern him.
He coughed lightly.
"Alright. Naruto, Sasuke, go sleep. Before that—these are for you."
Ran took out two scrolls from the Uchiha Ninjutsu Library.
One was Great Fire Annihilation, a B-rank Fire Release jutsu and an Uchiha secret technique.
The other was Vacuum Wave, a B-rank Wind Release jutsu collected from Danzo's archives.
Both boys' eyes widened when they saw the B marked on the scrolls.
Especially Naruto.
He had only ever heard of B-rank ninjutsu—he struggled even with basic academy techniques, let alone something like this.
