The next morning, Aria stood inside the airport terminal, wearing sunglasses and a large hat.
She looked around nervously.
"This feels like we're fugitives," she muttered.
Beside her, Rohan looked completely relaxed.
"You're overthinking."
Aria pointed at a group of people whispering nearby.
"They're staring at us."
Rohan glanced briefly.
"That happens everywhere I go."
Aria sighed.
"Right. Celebrity life."
Kabir had insisted they travel quietly, but even with sunglasses and casual clothes, people were beginning to recognize them.
Within minutes, someone shouted excitedly.
"ROHAN MALHOTRA!"
Cameras immediately appeared.
Aria groaned.
"So much for being discreet."
Rohan gently took her hand.
"Stay close."
They quickly moved through security and boarded the plane before the media could crowd them further.
A few hours later, the warm ocean breeze of Goa greeted them.
The resort Kabir had booked was beautiful.
Golden sand.
Blue ocean.
Palm trees swaying gently in the wind.
Aria looked around in amazement.
"Okay… this place is actually incredible."
Rohan nodded.
"It's quiet too."
For the first time in days, things seemed peaceful.
They checked into their private beach villa.
Aria walked straight to the balcony and stared at the ocean.
"This is the nicest place I've ever stayed in," she admitted.
Rohan leaned against the doorframe.
"You deserve a break."
Aria laughed lightly.
"From what? My fake marriage?"
For a moment, they both smiled.
But the peaceful moment didn't last long.
Aria's phone buzzed suddenly.
A new notification.
She opened it.
Her smile disappeared.
"What happened?" Rohan asked.
Aria slowly turned the phone toward him.
Another news article.
"DEV KHANNA ARRIVES IN GOA – SOURCES SAY HE'S INVESTIGATING ROHAN'S SECRET MARRIAGE."
Rohan's expression darkened.
"He followed us."
Aria crossed her arms.
"Your rival clearly has too much free time."
Rohan didn't respond.
Instead, he walked toward the balcony and looked out at the ocean.
Aria joined him.
"So what do we do now?" she asked.
Rohan's voice was calm but serious.
"We keep pretending."
Aria sighed.
"Right. Fake honeymoon continues."
But just as she said that, a loud voice suddenly came from the beach below.
"Well, this is romantic."
Aria froze.
She leaned over the balcony railing.
Standing near the villa, looking up at them with a smug smile…
was Dev Khanna.
Aria looked at Rohan in disbelief.
"He didn't just follow us…"
Dev raised his hand and waved casually.
"…he found us."
Rohan's jaw tightened.
And Aria suddenly realized something terrifying.
Their fake honeymoon had just become a dangerous game.
