First floor, living room.
Inside the Villa, silence reigned.
Leon stood before the French windows.
He wasn't looking at the sea, nor the moon.
His perception, like a vast net, silently enveloped the two rooms upstairs.
He could see everything within the bedrooms.
He watched the two seeds he had personally planted take root and sprout.
In the left room, there was Pietro's hatred and resolve.
"Very good."
Leon smiled with satisfaction.
"Hatred is one of the strongest fuels for motivation. Pietro has a good disposition; he's resilient enough. As long as I firmly fix HYDRA as his target, he will do everything to improve himself."
His thoughts then turned to the other room.
In the right room, there was Wanda's confusion and longing.
Her emotions were far more complex, but beneath the chaotic mist... a red energy was quietly coalescing in the young girl's hands.
Chaos magic.
This was one of the most powerful forces in the Marvel Universe.
"This is the real treasure." Leon's eyes were solemn.
He, Leon Odinson, the Sun god of Asgard, the future King of the Gods.
What he wanted was never subservient subordinates.
He wanted powerful individuals of absolute strength.
Just as Leon was immersed in his pleasure, his perception suddenly stirred slightly.
He saw Wanda's newly born Chaos magic, due to the fluctuations in her heart, leaking towards an unknown dimension.
"Hmm?"
Leon's eyebrow twitched.
"It truly is restless. It just manifested, and it's already unconsciously calling out to its source?"
"Chthon..."
That name flashed through his mind.
"Well, this saves me a lot of trouble."
He withdrew his perception from the Villa and instead looked towards New York.
He wanted to check on Tony and the others first.
"Jarvis," Leon said faintly.
"Always at your service, Mr. Leon."
"Connect to the Stark Tower laboratory. I want to see how Tony and the others are doing."
"Understood, sir. Connecting now..."
...Meanwhile, in New York.
Stark Tower, laboratory.
The atmosphere here was somewhat strange.
Tony Stark, the playboy, billionaire, genius inventor, now sported bloodshot panda eyes, his hair a mess like a bird's nest.
"Damn it, what in the world is this?!"
Tony cursed under his breath, dragging data across the holographic projection with both hands.
The screen displayed two complex energy models.
One was a constantly fluctuating gamma ray peak, representing Bruce Banner.
The other was Adam Bernard's data.
"Antimatter energy?! A living person, a walking antimatter energy source?!" Tony clutched his hair.
"How does this guy manage not to annihilate himself? This isn't scientific! This is even less scientific than Asgard's Bifrost Bridge!"
"Damn Leon! Where did he find these monsters?!"
Tony roared internally.
Ever since Leon burst into his life, everything had been out of control.
First, he took over his Malibu Villa, then he shoved two heavyweight guests into his Tower.
One, the Hulk, the other, calling himself Blue Marvel.
What was most humiliating was that the scoundrel Leon actually made him, Banner, and Adam each submit a five-thousand-word combat report!
He, Tony Stark! When had he ever written such a thing?!
But he still wrote it.
Because he couldn't control his curiosity.
He had to figure out how Adam's antimatter energy and Bruce Banner's mutation actually worked.
"And Leon, how did he manage to pause Hulk and Blue Marvel?!"
The more Tony thought, the more frustrated he became; he felt like a primitive man who had just learned 1+1.
On the other side of the laboratory, Bruce Banner was nervously pushing up his glasses.
He was also looking at the data, but he was more concerned with Tony's state.
"Calm down, Bruce. You can't turn green again. Tony is just venting stress."
Banner soothed himself internally.
His current mood was complex, but overall good, he just hadn't fully grasped Leon's power.
At the French windows of the laboratory, a silent figure stood.
Adam Bernard.
He was dressed in casual clothes, quietly looking down at the New York cityscape at night.
His wife, Kevin, and children were placed in a secure suite in the Tower.
Very safe, very comfortable.
But also very much like a prison.
Adam's heart was far less calm than his exterior suggested.
"Decades... I hid for decades, all so my family could live a peaceful life."
"Now, it's all ruined."
He recalled that battle.
Hulk's fists, Leon's oppressive aura.
And that combat report he spent an entire night writing.
"Five thousand words! He actually made me write a report..."
"However, I have to admit. In the process of writing the report, I re-examined my power. I suppressed antimatter energy for too long, so long that I almost forgot how to use it."
"What exactly does Leon want? To build an army of monsters?"
Just as the three were each lost in their own thoughts.
"Buzz."
The holographic projection in the center of the laboratory automatically lit up.
Leon appeared on the screen, a gentle smile on his face.
"Good evening, gentlemen," his voice came through.
"It seems your research is progressing quite smoothly?"
Hearing this, Tony rolled his eyes.
"Aha! Look who it is!" Tony said in a strange voice, waving the tool in his hand exaggeratedly.
"Your Highness, the esteemed Sun god! Have you deigned to contact us mortals because you wish to see something?"
He pointed to Banner, then to Adam.
"The green one, the data is relatively stable. The blue energy readings are ridiculously high; I suspect he'll blow up my Tower at any moment!"
"Damn it! He's still smiling!" Tony cursed inwardly.
"Calm down, Tony." Leon's smile remained unchanged, as if he hadn't heard Tony's sarcasm at all.
"I appreciate your enthusiasm. However, Mr. Adam's power is very stable; what you should be worried about is your outdated energy system."
He mercilessly jabbed, then his gaze swept over Banner and Adam.
"Dr. Banner, your anger management lessons are proving effective. Mr. Adam, your report is well-written, logically clear, though the writing style needs improvement, but the analysis is very insightful."
Banner gave an awkward laugh.
Adam was expressionless, but his eyes grew colder.
"He actually read it? And even commented on the writing style?!" Adam felt like he was having a heart attack.
"Alright, small talk time is over."
Leon's expression became a little more serious.
"I'm calling to assign you some homework."
No sooner had he finished speaking than two brand new files popped up on the screen controlled by Jarvis.
"Two new students." Leon's tone was casual, as if he were saying he just bought two cabbages.
"One runs very fast. The other..."
Leon's tone paused, as if he were choosing his words.
"Very, very special."
