Part 4: The Promise
Time passed, but Arman and Maya's love only grew stronger. Every day they met at the same small café where their story had begun. The owner of the café even started calling them "the rainy couple."
One evening, the sky was clear and full of stars. Arman and Maya were walking slowly near a quiet lake outside the town. The water reflected the moonlight, and the air felt calm and magical.
Maya looked at Arman and said softly,
"Do you remember the first day we met? It was raining so heavily."
Arman smiled.
"How could I forget? That rain changed my whole life."
Maya laughed a little and said,
"And it changed mine too."
They sat on a wooden bench near the lake. For a moment, neither of them spoke. The silence felt peaceful.
Arman took out his notebook from his bag.
"This notebook," he said, "is full of stories. But there is one story that I haven't finished yet."
Maya looked curious.
"Which story?" she asked.
Arman looked into her eyes and said slowly,
"Our story."
Maya's heart started beating faster.
Arman stood up, took a deep breath, and held Maya's hand.
"Maya," he said softly,
"You are the most beautiful chapter of my life. Before you came, my world was quiet and empty. But now every day feels meaningful."
He paused for a moment.
"I don't want our story to end as just a love story."
Maya looked at him with shining eyes.
"I want it to become a lifetime story."
Arman then asked the question that had been in his heart for so long.
"Maya… will you marry me?"
For a few seconds, Maya said nothing. Her eyes filled with tears—not of sadness, but of happiness.
Then she smiled and nodded.
"Yes, Arman. I will."
At that moment, the wind blew softly across the lake, and the stars seemed brighter than ever.
Arman hugged Maya, and both of them knew something important.
Their love story had just reached a new chapter.
And this time… it was a promise for forever. ❤️
