Two days later, Anaya sat nervously in a beautiful café in Bangalore.
She wore a simple blue dress, trying not to look too formal.
Her heart was beating fast.
"What if he is arrogant?" she thought.
"What if we have nothing in common?"
Just then, the café door opened.
A tall man walked inside.
He had sharp features, deep brown eyes, and a calm, confident walk.
His eyes searched the room until they landed on Anaya.
He walked toward her table.
"Hi," he said with a small smile. "You must be Anaya."
His voice was deep but gentle.
"Yes," she replied softly.
"I'm Araav."
They shook hands.
For a moment, both of them felt slightly awkward.
Araav sat down across from her.
"So," he said with a light laugh, "this is our arranged marriage interview."
Anaya couldn't help but smile.
"Looks like it."
For the next hour, they talked about many things—work, hobbies, travel, and family.
To Anaya's surprise, Araav wasn't arrogant at all.
He was calm, respectful, and even a little funny.
But something about him still felt mysterious.
As they stood to leave, Araav said something unexpected.
"I believe in honesty," he said.
"So I'll say this clearly… I'm not looking for a perfect wife. I'm looking for a partner."
Anaya looked into his eyes.
For the first time, she wondered…
"Maybe this arranged marriage won't be so bad."
