Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 - The First World

After completing the reconstruction of his body, Lin Tian did not immediately move toward the planet he had discovered.

Old habits remained with him.

Before making any decision, he preferred to observe carefully.

He drifted in the silent region between star systems and continued studying the distant world for a long time.

From his position in space, the planet appeared as a small sphere with faint blue and green colors. White clouds moved slowly across its surface, and sunlight from its nearby star illuminated half of the world while the other half remained in darkness.

Lin Tian expanded his perception.

The ability came naturally. His soul and body were synchronized with the informational layer of the universe, allowing his consciousness to spread across enormous distances.

Slowly, the details of the planet became clearer.

Oceans covered most of the surface. Vast continents stretched across the remaining areas, filled with forests, rivers, mountains, and deserts.

The planet possessed a stable atmosphere and an active energy field surrounding it.

Lin Tian noticed something interesting within that field.

It was not ordinary energy.

Instead, it was a type of natural energy produced by the interaction between the planet's core and the surrounding cosmic environment.

Cultivators on the planet referred to this energy as spiritual energy.

To Lin Tian, it was simply a specific pattern of energy flow governed by natural laws.

He continued observing.

Cities existed across several regions of the continents. Most of them were large settlements surrounded by walls, connected by roads and rivers.

However, Lin Tian was not interested in the cities at the moment.

His attention focused on the energy patterns around the planet.

After several days of observation, he confirmed an important detail.

The cultivation system practiced on this world followed a structured hierarchy.

People began their training through simple techniques that manipulated small portions of natural energy.

These techniques were known as arts.

Arts allowed practitioners to interact with minor fragments of elemental laws.

For example, some individuals practiced flame arts that allowed them to heat objects or produce small bursts of fire.

Others practiced water arts that manipulated moisture in the air.

But all of these techniques remained at a very low level.

Above arts existed the deeper understanding of laws.

Cultivators who reached that stage could manipulate the fundamental forces of nature more directly.

Beyond laws existed rules.

Rules governed groups of laws together, forming complex frameworks that influenced reality on a much larger scale.

And above rules stood authorities.

Authorities represented the highest structural control over universal phenomena.

Even after millions of years of studying the universe, Lin Tian had only begun exploring fragments of minor laws.

Authorities remained far beyond his current experimentation.

Still, compared to the inhabitants of this planet, his understanding was already vastly greater.

Lin Tian remained silent for a moment as he considered his next step.

"I need information," he thought.

Watching from space had limitations.

To understand the civilization of this world, he needed to observe it more closely.

He decided to approach the planet.

However, before moving, he checked the state of his body once again.

Although he had already sealed most of the primordial runic structures within himself, he wanted to ensure that his presence would not disturb the natural balance of the planet.

He activated the concealment layers embedded within his bones and blood.

The runic symbols remained hidden beneath multiple levels of suppression.

His aura completely disappeared.

Even cultivators with strong perception would not notice anything unusual about him.

After confirming the concealment, Lin Tian began moving.

Unlike ordinary physical travel, his movement relied on informational displacement.

By slightly altering the spatial coordinates of his position, he could move across enormous distances almost instantly.

The stars around him shifted rapidly.

Within a few moments, the blue planet grew larger in his vision.

As he approached the atmosphere, he slowed his descent.

Clouds drifted beneath him like white oceans.

Sunlight reflected off their surfaces, creating soft golden edges.

Lin Tian entered the upper atmosphere during the early morning hours of the planet's rotation.

The sun had just risen over the eastern horizon.

Soft orange light spread across the land below.

From high above, he could see forests covered in morning mist and rivers reflecting the light of dawn.

The air currents carried faint scents of vegetation and water.

For the first time since leaving Earth millions of years ago, Lin Tian felt the sensation of wind against his body.

It was a strange but familiar experience.

He continued descending until the details of the terrain became clear.

Mountains stretched across the northern horizon, their peaks covered with snow.

Below them lay a wide valley filled with forests and farmland.

Several small villages existed within the valley, connected by narrow dirt roads.

Lin Tian chose one of the smaller villages near the edge of the forest.

Large settlements might contain powerful cultivators who could sense unusual energy patterns.

A remote village would be safer for observation.

He landed quietly on a grassy hillside outside the village.

The ground was still damp from the night's dew.

The sky above was pale blue, and the morning sun had risen just high enough to illuminate the rooftops of the wooden houses below.

Thin streams of smoke rose from several chimneys as villagers began preparing breakfast.

Roosters crowed somewhere within the village.

Farm animals moved slowly in their pens.

Lin Tian stood still for a moment and observed the peaceful scene.

His appearance now looked completely human.

He appeared to be a young man in his early twenties, with straight black hair and calm eyes that reflected quiet attentiveness.

He wore simple dark clothing formed earlier from condensed energy.

After confirming that nothing unusual was happening around him, Lin Tian began walking toward the village.

The dirt path leading to the settlement curved gently through small fields where winter crops were growing.

As he approached the entrance, he saw a man carrying a bundle of firewood toward one of the houses.

The man noticed Lin Tian and stopped walking.

He looked slightly surprised to see a stranger so early in the morning.

Lin Tian slowed his steps and raised a hand politely.

"Good morning," he said calmly as he already learn this planet every language through information layer.

The man studied him for a moment before answering.

"Morning," the villager replied cautiously. "I don't think I've seen you here before."

"That's correct," Lin Tian said. "I arrived from another region and was hoping to find a place to rest for a while."

The villager shifted the firewood on his shoulder and looked toward the houses behind him.

"Well, travelers do pass through sometimes," the man said. "If you need food or a room, you should speak with Old Master Zhang. He runs the guest house near the center of the village."

Lin Tian nodded.

"Thank you for the information."

The villager relaxed slightly.

"No problem," he said. "The guest house is just past the well in the middle of the village. You can't miss it."

Lin Tian thanked him again and continued walking down the path.

For the first time since his rebirth, he was about to step into human society once more.

And this quiet village would become the starting point of his new life.
