Dear Reader, close to my heart,
Before you sail into the abyss of this dark tale, and before you turn its pages—which may carry within them what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has ever imagined—I feel it is my duty to offer you this sincere warning, stemming from a heavy, personal experience.
The lines you will peruse shortly are not a mere weaving of wild imagination, nor an attempt to evoke a fleeting sense of dread. Rather, they are a plunge into ancient, hidden worlds, inhabited by entities and powers not to be trifled with. Hidden between the folds of this novel, you will encounter words that are, in truth, the names of Jinn kings, and syllables that are inherently summoning incantations or whispers from The Book That Awakened the Devil.
I will keep no secrets from you, dear reader. As I penned these letters, attempting to embody this clash between light and darkness, I suffered immensely. How many nights did a heavy, sudden slumber ambush me, acting as a blanket of darkness cast over me to silence my beating heart and extinguish the candle of my thoughts? And how many times did I feel a hidden presence watching me, or hear incomprehensible murmurs echoing in the corners of my room?
I found no refuge from this heavy burden, nor a fortress against this unseen influence, save by turning to the Creator of this universe and everything within it. The ritual of ablution was a light that dispelled the accumulating shadows, and prayer, in its appointed time, brought a profound tranquility that calmed the terror in my heart. A hidden strength allowed me to continue this arduous journey to its very end, despite witnessing horrors that nearly cost me my sanity.
Therefore, before you proceed with your reading, I implore you to seek divine protection from the cursed devil. Fortify your soul with the remembrance of God, and with whatever prayers or sacred verses you can muster, to shield yourself from the malice of what you may read, or what might manifest between these lines.
For knowledge, at times, is a door to consequences we cannot praise... and words... words hold a power that transcends all imagination.
I have delivered my warning, and thus, I am absolved.
