Chapter 9 -   Chapter 9 – Dull landscape with deadly silence

Her arm released open slowly. One knee hit the ground and the other. I stared at the ground looking at my fingers, which shook rapidly, until I coughed out blood. I didn't care about my health at least in this state, I wanted Shiro back. Betrayal is what started it, what caused, and what broke our bond. I turned around, "Shiro… Kill me already". Shiro shook her head tentatively. "I SAID… KILL ME," I choked. "I'd had enough, if you won't kill me, then I will be the one to kill myself." I grabbed the butterfly knife from the ground, and…

Shiro grabbed my wrist, firmly. "Don't… please…," she grabbed the tip of the knife, making a deep cut on her palm. "Go ahead, I have the knife, kill yourself, and I'll go ahead and kill myself as well," Shiro held the knife at the heart ready to stab herself if I took another suicidal move. I shook my head, as I continuously coughed out blood. Shiro suddenly rushed to the ground to revive me. "Bite me… anywhere," she rushed. I bit her neck, as it was the closest, I could feel her muscle tense, and fingers flinch, but I continued anyway.

My teeth grinded into her skin, I felt myself enjoying it. Blood drooled down my mouth. I let go once I was out of breath. "Thanks, Shiro," I said. She smiled warmly with pale lips, "I am glad you're okay now."

As we walked our way into the forest, a dim light appeared faintly. I ran to it – drops of cold liquid smeared my skin with the colour, 'bloody red'. It started raining fiercely, was it blood? The raindrops are the colour of blood... I swear to God. "Shiro, I think… we better get out of here". I held her cold hand and started running.

We made it to a cliff.

"Bye bye Ren," Shiro giggled.

She harshly pulled her hand out of mine and shoved me down the cliff. As I fell from a high cliff, I felt scared, yet I did not scream. I fell onto a trampoline as if someone expected Shiro would have pushed me down.

I got up from my knees, ready for the perfect, revenged plan.

I laughed.

I laughed louder.

I laughed at my loudest, when the cliff edges fought back my scream. I promise I would not trust anyone again.

I shifted and saw Shiro was gone - expecting me to be dead by now. I am not dead Shiro. How dare you try kill me? The person who cares about you the most. And now… to start my revenged plan, I needed a way to get out of here.

I screamed for help. A girl about my age – 18 years old – threw a rope down. I grabbed on it. It feels secure, lets trust only this someone for now.

I finally was out of the cliff. There was a girl - her hair flowing in the pace of the wind, hair coloured as the midnight sky… so dreamy.
