Chapter 1 the uniform blunder
The first day of the new semester at evergreen college was supposed to be simple but ..., Daisy Smith, the third year student and the secretary of the student council, had one job; welcome everyone, and out time tables and make sure the freshers didn't get lost.
Instead, she was standing in the middle of the crowded corridor, steering at the most annoying guy she had seen.
She spotted him in the crowded corridor: tall, lean, Messy dark hair falling over his forehead, white shirt sleeves rolled up casually, black pants, sneakers-no tie, no blazer, nothing that is screamed "uniform".
She marched over, hands on her hips, voice firm, "excuse me !! why are not you wearing your uniform ?? it is the first day rules are rules, even for the late joiners"
He turned slowly, is the brown eyes met her, and for a split second something like amusement flashed across this face. He opened his mouth to reply but, before he could, Amy-har absolute best friend and Chaos coordinator -came
"Daisy! Stop right now!"she whispered yelled- "that's not a student that the new match teacher Mr Ryuji Jones."he is taking our calculus this semester and girl... he's hot.
Her jaw dropped. Heat flooded her face. The guy she just scolded like a naughty boy... Was her math teacher??
Ryuji sir smiled-slowly, confident, dangerously attractive."Nice to meet you too miss secretary," he said, his voice low and smooth like velvet.
He tapped the small staff ID batch on his shirt."next time maybe glance at this before you start giving orders. And for the records... I don't do uniform".
The corridor went quite for a heartbeat but then he leaned fraction closer-so close that she could smell he is faint cologne and mermaid slowly only for her to hear, See you in the class Daisy.., try not to stare too much, I might get the wrong idea
Her heart slammed against her ribs, he walked away to what the staff room but not before glancing back once, that teasing smile still on his lips.
Amy burst out of laughing the second he was out of earshot."oh my god Daisy!!"you just bossed around the hottest teacher we have ever seen. And did you see how he said your name? Like he already knows you are trouble. She nudged her hard , admit it- your blushing because he is cute.
"Shut up Amy!"she hissed but her cheeks were on fire. I thought he was a student! How was I supposed to know?
Before she could tease her more, Alex appeared out of nowhere-tall , charming, the kind of guy every girl in college had crush on at some point. He had been flirting with her since last semester, always finding excuse to talk.
"Hey , Daisy ", he said with his signature grin, leaning against the wall next to her, saw that little scene.You okay? "The new teacher looked like he enjoyed putting you in your place."he reached out and lightly tucked stand of hair behind her ear."you look the adorable when you were mad, though."
She forced a laugh, trying to play it cool.Yeah, total disaster. I am fine."
From the corner of her eye, she caught Ryuji sir pausing at the end of the corrid.He glanced back -just for a second and his jaw tightened when he saw Vikram's and near her face. His eyes narrowed, something dark flickering there before he turned and disappeared around the corner.
Amy noticed too. She leaned in whispering dramatically, whoa, did sir just glare at Alex? Like jealousy glare!? Girl, this semester is going to be interesting.
Har phone buzzed in her pocket-a notification from the college app. It was a message from the faculty group.... But no wait, it was the private message from and unknown number.
Math class room number 204, don't be late miss secretary. We have a lot to discuss-R.J.
Her breath caught. How did he get my? And what did he mean by"a lot to discuss"?
Amy peeked over her shoulder and gasped, "ohh, he is texting you already?"this is not just a crush-this is trouble.
She glaring at the screen,heart racing what exactly was waiting for me in the classroom tomorrow??
