Ethan drank a little from her glass of wine for the second time. "I honestly can't believe the words coming out of your mouth. I can't get it straight, you look like a Christian? You are even spiritual."
She replied, "Yeah I know. I asked if you were prophetic because I wanted to know you more. I'm bisexual."
He sat up properly, his eyes opened up wide, "Bisexual? You say?"
"Yeah, I am bisexual. Are you gay?" She asked.
"Nope, I was never gay and I will never be." He said.
She stared at him curious at what he was thinking of. "Ethan how did you find me?"
"Through your essence, it got corrupted with lebianism and gluttony. You love food and sex, what other options did you think of?"
She was too stunned to speak. She knew immediately, he wasn't normal. She tried to check through his gateway to his soul, his eyes but still she couldn't find anything.
She said, "Ethan? What are you?"
He smiled calmly, he replied, "Well I am what you think I am. Like you said previously, I am the prophet I guess. And you are the intercessor right?"
She drank the liquid from the glass, "Yes I am. What church do you attend and what deity do you worship?"
A strange silence hit. He asked, "Can we get away from here? I'd like us to have some peace and quiet if you don't mind."
Karen smiled, "Come with me. I know a perfect place for the both of us."
They walked till they reached the nearest grave yard. Ethan's phone rang, he picked it up.
"Yes, Eric?" He replied.
Eric answered, "Ethan you'll need that young woman back to hell sooner than ever. Also a quick warning, that's not her Ethan. I'm not sure who but I don't think an intercessor would be bisexual or a graveyard attendant."
Ethan smiled, "Maybe she wanted to raise the dead. Who knows?" Eric took his supposed sarcasm serious.
Eric replied, "Ethan I'm deadly serious right now. You should get ready to fight or something, you know how to spot the fakes. Always focus on the eyes."
Ethan remained calm. He looked around him, he saw her adjusting her shirt before she got closer to him. Constance got irritated yet anxious over the silence he returned during the conversation.
Constance spoke over them, "Ethan this is not a joke. Draw our your sword now!"
Before he could draw out a weapon, the supposed Karen hit his head with an iron rod. He fell to the ground.
Luckily enough for him, he sustained his consciousness. He rolled over until he could get up, he turned around with his dizzy eyes only for him to realize the person standing right in front of him had changed.
It was another female, she had blonde hair. He maintained his sight on her, she was really beautiful. He stood correctly erect facing her. He asked, "Who are you?"
Still amazed by her secret powers and revealation, her body and her features, he asked again, "Who are you? Answer me."
She replied anxiously, "I'm Leah."
He looked around trying to checkmate his imaginary enemies, he needed to cancel the subtle foreshadowing he had in his head.
He asked, "Leah why did you attack me?"
She said, "I'm guiding her and you are trying to kill her."
His eyebrows crumpled, "Leah, no. You are talking about Rune right? Rune is not my enemy."
Her face bared a confused expression. "Who's Rune? I'm talking about Karen."
He rearranged his thoughts, "Right sorry that's what I meant. Karen, the intercessor."
He wondered why her name poped up instead of hers. Leah replied, "Yeah why are you here then? Who sent you?"
"The real question here is not who sent me but where she is. So where is she? I need her allegiance to us." He said.
She lowered her weapon, "Allegiance? To who and why?"
"To hell for Rune's sake."
A certain silence hit the air. The wind blew between them, she suddenly remembered who Rune was.
She asked, "Wait. The girl you mentioned, is she average height tall. Maybe with a dark hair and a nice dark aesthetic?"
"Yes that's her. She died a while ago."
She cut him short as he spoke, "Wait. She's at the hospital in a coma. Karen walked around on a certain day she crossed paths with her. She walked into the room to preach and pray."
Ethan replied, "Alright, so can you take me to the body? And Karen too?"
Leah stared at him for a while, she didn't want to trust a man from hell but what's the worst that could happen if at all?
"Alright let's go. We have a lot to work on." Leah said.
He got curious, "What do you mean by work on? I don't even know you that much and if I may ask, why would a witch be friends with a Christian intercessor?"
"It's more of a spirituality thing than a religion thing. It's got nothing to do with my pagan background. You could ask around, the dirties work together if there's a need for that. It's a simple law."
"Oh really? Could you elaborate on that?"
"Well not really. I think it'll be better to speak with her yourself."
Leah led the way as they walked towards the car. They walked past a certain number of people, Ethan could feel a certain vibration around him. "What's going on here?"
"What?" Leah asked. They stopped walking.
"The vibration. It's too much. There's a portal opened here." He didn't trust her but he had no other option than to listen to her, causing an argument might be too much for her.
Before he sat down, he looked at the brown parchment paper on the car seat. He knew she was a manifesting witch, He sat after taking it off.
Constance rang the phone the moment the car got on the road. He answered the call, "I'm good and you?"
