During his fall, Boruto continuously adjusted his chakra. About twenty meters from the ground, he began to slow himself, releasing chakra with precision until he landed safely.
"That scared me to death. I thought I was going to smash into the ground," Boruto said, wiping sweat from his face, still trembling slightly from fear.
"Instead of standing here talking, you'd better run," Momoshiki suddenly said.
"Huh? Why should I run?" Boruto asked in confusion.
"Are you that scared your soul is ready to flee? Since you fell from the sky, the security ninja will definitely come after you. Do you know what will happen if they catch you?"
"Oh no, I have to get moving!" Boruto's mind raced. Momoshiki was right. Not everyone in the village recognized him. Earlier, he had already encountered two security members who hadn't recognized him at all. If they captured him and mistook him for a member of the invading Otsutsuki clan, no one could guarantee his safety before his father arrived.
"Luckily, you're close to the Hokage Tower. But that's also bad news the investigation ninjas will arrive quickly too," Momoshiki warned.
"Then I'll head to the Hokage Tower!" Boruto quickly decided on his next move, forming the hand signs for Shadow Clone Technique.

Boom, boom! Two clones appeared on either side of him. He was ready to use his signature move the Boruto Launch.
"Save some strength this time!" Boruto told the clones.
"Let's go!" The two clones had already charged their Gale Palm techniques.
"Up! Boruto Launch!" Boruto jumped, letting his clones push him forward with their wind chakra. He shot like a cannonball straight into the Hokage's office.
"Who's there!" Naruto immediately rose from the Hokage seat, activating the Nine-Tails Chakra Mode.
Shikamaru also reacted, forming the hand signs for Shadow Possession Jutsu and taking a defensive stance nearby.
The ANBU protecting the Hokage appeared as well, eyes alert through the smoke and dust.
Then, a voice emerged from the haze.
"Sorry, sorry! I didn't expect it to be this powerful after the adjustments."
Both Naruto and Shikamaru froze in shock. Through the smoke and dust, Boruto made his grand entrance.
Seeing it was Boruto, Naruto deactivated the Nine-Tails Chakra Mode and told the ANBU,
"ANBU, inform the outside that the danger has passed, then return to your posts."
"Understood," a member responded, likely the ANBU squad leader.
After the ANBU acknowledged, the remaining team in the Hokage office vanished using Body Flicker Technique, notifying all units that the threat was neutralized.
"Boruto, what was that just now!" Naruto asked, a hint of irritation in his voice.
"The jutsu output was a bit too high, that's why it happened," Boruto said, scratching his head guiltily.
"You… never mind. Did you complete the mission?" Naruto rarely scolded Boruto. At home, Hinata mainly cared for the children, and whenever Naruto thought of that, he felt a pang of guilt. So unless it was serious, he would handle things calmly.
"Mission?" Boruto looked puzzled. He hadn't been to the Hokage office today, so what mission was he talking about?
"Tell him you'll submit it soon, then ask if that means you can leave," Momoshiki instructed him.
Though confused, Boruto decided to handle the immediate situation first, then exchange information with Momoshiki later. He told Naruto,
"I'll submit it soon. So can I go now?"
"Alright, then go ahead." Naruto, having expected this, pulled two papers from a drawer and handed them to Boruto. One was a visitation permit and the person to visit? Orochimaru.
Boruto's mind filled with question marks, but he couldn't let them show. He said politely,
"Thanks, Dad. I'll go now. Oh, by the way, Mom has returned to the Hyuga estate. Don't forget to pick her up later."
With that, Boruto walked out of the Hokage office miraculously, without damaging the door.
