CLASSHERO SESSION
PART 2 — EPISODE 4
THE MAN BEHIND THE WARNING
The morning sun rose over Imperial National University's Delhi campus, but Surya Sharma could not focus on anything except the photograph in his hand.
It showed Raghav Rana lying unconscious in a hospital bed.
Beneath it, someone had written four words:
YOU SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN MUMBAI.
Surya folded the photograph and slipped it into his pocket.
Whoever had sent it knew about Mumbai. They knew about Raghav. And they wanted Surya to understand that transferring to Delhi had not allowed him to escape his past.
His phone vibrated.
An unknown number.
UNKNOWN MESSAGE: Your friends won't always be there to protect you.
Surya stared at the screen before replying.
SURYA: Then stop hiding and face me.
The message was delivered. No response followed.
Surya put his phone away and walked towards the main building.
He had no intention of letting an anonymous threat control his life.
But someone had just made a dangerous mistake.
They had threatened the one person whose suffering Surya still blamed himself for.
And Surya was determined to discover who was responsible.

1. A FRIEND'S SUSPICION
Dibya Ranjan was waiting near the engineering block when Surya arrived.
"You're late," Dibya said.
"Didn't sleep much."
Dibya noticed the tired expression on Surya's face.
"Something happened?"
Surya hesitated before showing him the photograph.
Dibya's smile disappeared.
"Who's this?"
"Raghav Rana. My friend from Mumbai."
"What happened to him?"
"Someone attacked him. He's still unconscious."
Dibya looked at the picture again. "And someone sent this to you?"
Surya nodded.
Dibya's expression hardened.
"Then they're not just trying to scare you. They're telling you they can reach the people you care about."
"Exactly."
"Tell Ahmad."
Surya shook his head. "Not yet. I don't know whether UNITY is involved."
"Ahmad controls half this campus. If someone is operating here without his knowledge, he'll want to know."
"And if he's involved?"
Dibya went quiet.
For the first time, neither of them had an easy answer.
"Fine," Dibya finally said. "But you're not investigating alone."
Surya looked at him.
"I don't need a bodyguard."
"Good. Because I don't work for free."
Despite himself, Surya almost smiled.
"Then keep up."

2. THE KING'S WARNING
Inside the administration building, Ahmad Khan watched security footage on a large monitor.
Happy Patel stood beside him while Pratush Roy leaned against the desk.
"The two men who entered the basketball clubhouse have been identified," Happy reported. "They're not students here."
"Who sent them?" Ahmad asked.
"That's what I'm trying to find out."
Pratush crossed his arms.
"Maybe someone wants to start a war between UNITY and the new transfer student."
Ahmad paused the footage.
"Or someone wants me looking in the wrong direction."
A knock interrupted them.
Rakesh Singh entered, his face bruised from the previous confrontation.
"Ahmad, we have a problem."
"We have several. Be specific."
"Surya Sharma is asking questions about the clubhouse."
Happy glanced at Ahmad.
Ahmad slowly turned towards Rakesh.
"Did you destroy it?"
"No."
"Did you send those men?"
"No!"
"Then why are you worried?"
Rakesh clenched his jaw. "Because if Surya keeps digging, people will start thinking UNITY is weak."
Ahmad stepped closer.
"Listen carefully. I built UNITY because I refuse to let outsiders decide what happens on this campus. But if one of my own people creates trouble and blames an innocent student, I'll deal with them myself."
Rakesh lowered his eyes.
Ahmad continued, "Find out who's behind this. And don't touch Surya without my permission."
Rakesh left.
Pratush watched the door close.
"You trust Surya now?"
"No," Ahmad replied. "But I trust the evidence. And right now, someone is trying very hard to make us enemies."

3. THE BOY IN THE EQUIPMENT ROOM
After classes, Surya and Dibya visited the basketball clubhouse.
The damaged entrance had been repaired, but several broken benches still lay stacked near the wall.
Raj Kapoor was sitting on the steps outside.
"You came," Raj said quietly.
Surya sat beside him. Dibya remained standing.
"Tell us exactly what happened that night," Surya said.
Raj looked around before answering.
"I was returning some equipment when someone locked me inside the storage room. I heard people arguing outside. Then something crashed."
"Did you recognize anyone?" Dibya asked.
"No. But I heard one of them say something."
"What?"
Raj swallowed.
"He said, 'The Delhi operation starts when the Mumbai boy arrives.'"
Surya's expression changed.
Dibya stopped moving.
"The Mumbai boy?" he repeated.
Raj nodded.
"I didn't understand it at the time. I thought they were talking about someone else."
Surya stood.
"They were talking about me."
"Maybe," Dibya said. "But there's something else."
Raj reached into his bag and pulled out a small object wrapped in tissue.
It was a black metal badge.
A silver symbol was engraved on its surface: a circle split by three sharp lines.
Surya examined it.
"Is this UNITY's symbol?"
"No," Dibya answered immediately. "I've never seen it before."
Raj looked nervous.
"I found it near the storage-room door after you freed me. I kept it because I thought it might help."
Surya closed his fingers around the badge.
The clubhouse destruction hadn't been random.
It had been arranged to bring him into conflict with Dibya and UNITY.
Someone had planned everything before Surya even arrived in Delhi.

4. THE CALL
That evening, Ahmad received another call from the unknown number.
"Your investigation is moving too slowly," the caller said.
Ahmad leaned back in his chair.
"Who are you?"
"Someone who understands your campus better than you do."
"Then you should know that threatening me is a terrible idea."
A quiet laugh came through the phone.
"You're worrying about Surya Sharma. You should be worrying about what happens when he discovers the truth."
"What truth?"
"The reason he was transferred to Delhi."
Ahmad sat upright.
"Surya transferred here because of events in Mumbai."
"That's what he believes."
The line went silent for a moment.
Then the caller spoke again.
"Ask him what happened on the night Raghav Rana was attacked. Ask him why certain people disappeared afterwards. And ask yourself why someone would bring a boy like Surya into a campus controlled by UNITY."
Ahmad's expression darkened.
"Tell me your name."
"You'll learn it soon enough."
The call ended.
Ahmad immediately summoned Happy.
"I want Surya's complete transfer records. Every document. Every recommendation. Every person who approved his admission."
Happy looked confused.
"What's going on?"
Ahmad stared at the dark phone screen.
"I think someone arranged Surya's arrival here."

5. THE NEW TARGET
Late that night, Surya returned to his hostel room.
A white envelope had been pushed beneath his door.
Inside was a printed document containing his transfer details from Mumbai to Delhi.
Several lines had been marked in red.
At the bottom was a handwritten sentence:
YOU DIDN'T COME TO DELHI BY ACCIDENT.
Surya turned the page over.
A second photograph had been attached.
It showed a man standing outside the Mumbai hospital where Raghav was being treated.
The man's face was partially hidden beneath a hood.
But Surya recognized the jacket.
He had seen it before.
At Factory 17—the night everything fell apart.
Surya's breathing grew shallow as memories returned: the shouting, the confusion, the people running through the darkness.
He had believed that night was over.
He had believed he understood what happened.
Now he wasn't sure he understood anything.
His phone vibrated once more.
UNKNOWN MESSAGE: Tomorrow, come to the old railway workshop. Come alone if you want answers.
Surya looked at the photograph.
Then he typed a reply.
SURYA: I'll be there.
He put the phone down and stared out of the window at the distant city lights.
He knew it might be a trap.
But if the truth about Raghav's attack was connected to his transfer, he couldn't ignore it.
Across campus, a figure watched Surya's hostel building from the shadows.
The figure took out a phone.
"He's accepted the invitation," a voice whispered.
The person on the other end replied calmly.
"Good. Let's see whether Mumbai's hero can survive Delhi."
The call ended.
On the figure's wrist was the same black badge Surya had found at the clubhouse.
