Chapter 50 - The Dark Army Arrives

Dark clouds covered the sky above the Sawyer territory.

The forest felt tense and silent.

Every wolf in the pack was ready for battle.

Jayden stood at the front of the defensive line with Kayden beside him.

Behind them, dozens of pack warriors waited.

Ariana stood slightly behind them, her heart beating fast.

"Are they really coming today?" she asked quietly.

Jayden nodded.

"Our scouts confirmed it."

Kayden cracked his neck.

"Well… looks like the welcoming party is ready."

Suddenly—

A loud howl echoed from deep inside the forest.

Then another.

And another.

The ground began trembling slightly.

Ariana felt a chill run down her spine.

"They're here…"

Moments later, dozens of wolves emerged from the dark trees.

Their eyes glowed red.

At the center of them stood Alpha Darius.

His dark aura spread across the clearing like a shadow.

"Well," Darius said calmly.

"This is a beautiful battlefield."

Jayden stepped forward.

"You're making a mistake."

Darius smiled coldly.

"No."

"You are."

His red eyes turned toward Ariana.

"The Moon Heir belongs to me."

Jayden's wolf instincts flared.

"Over my dead body."

Darius raised his hand.

"Attack."

The dark army rushed forward instantly.

The battle exploded across the clearing.

Pack wolves clashed with Darius's warriors.

Growls and claws filled the forest.

Jayden transformed into his massive black Alpha wolf and charged straight toward Darius.

Kayden followed close behind, attacking the enemy wolves.

But Darius's army was larger.

Stronger.

Several dark wolves broke through the defensive line and rushed toward Ariana.

Ariana's heart raced.

The silver energy inside her began rising again.

But suddenly—

One of the dark wolves attacked Jayden from behind.

Jayden turned too late.

The enemy's claws struck deeply into his side.

The black Alpha wolf crashed to the ground.

"Jayden!" Ariana screamed.

The silver energy around her exploded violently.

Moonlight poured down from the sky.

The battlefield froze.

Because this time…

The Moon Heir's power was no longer just awakening.

It was fully erupting.

And everyone—friend and enemy—could feel it.

The true power of the Moon had finally begun to rise.
