Chapter 31 - A Target for the Packs

The night grew quiet after Ariana's power burst.

But the tension inside the pack territory had only increased.

Every wolf present had witnessed the strange silver energy.

Whispers spread quickly.

"Moon Heir…"

"Is it really possible?"

Ariana stood silently beside Jayden, still feeling weak.

"I didn't mean for that to happen," she said softly.

Jayden looked at her seriously.

"It's not your fault."

Kayden folded his arms and smirked slightly.

"Well, looks like our quiet maid is actually the most powerful person here."

Ariana rolled her eyes.

"Can you stop calling me that?"

Kayden laughed.

"Fine… Moon Princess."

Jayden shot him an annoyed look.

"This isn't funny."

The eldest elder stepped forward again.

"You must understand the danger now," he said to Ariana.

"What danger?" she asked.

The elder's voice became grave.

"If other packs discover that the Moon Heir has awakened…"

"They will come for you."

Ariana felt a chill run down her spine.

"Why?"

Kayden answered this time.

"Because whoever controls the Moon Heir… controls the future of the werewolves."

Jayden's jaw tightened.

"We won't let that happen."

Just then, a pack warrior ran toward them urgently.

"Alpha!"

Jayden turned.

"What is it?"

The warrior spoke quickly.

"We received a message from the Northern Fang Pack."

The elders immediately looked concerned.

Jayden's eyes narrowed.

"What message?"

The warrior hesitated.

"They're coming here."

Kayden's smirk slowly disappeared.

"Well… that was fast."

Jayden understood the situation immediately.

Another powerful werewolf pack had already heard about Ariana.

And they were coming to claim her.

Jayden looked at Ariana with determination.

"No matter what happens," he said quietly.

"You're staying under my protection."

But deep down, everyone knew one thing.

The arrival of another pack could turn everything into a full-scale werewolf war.
