EXT. BUSHY FOREST – NIGHT
A herd of antelopes sprint through the
foliage, fear in their eyes. A PAIR OF BRIGHT GOLDEN EYES pierce through the
darkness. An ABNORMAL ROAR shakes the silence. HYDRION (larger and more
humanoid than usual) gives chase like a true predator.
HYDRION
How insulting. I'm made to chase my
own dinner.
(jumps)
One antelope slows, looking back. Not
seeing Hydrion, it stops. A STRANGE SHADOW covers it. It looks up… and loses
its head. Hydrion stands behind, gripping the head, then SMASHES it with his
jaws, chewing and swallowing. The other antelopes freeze in horror.
HYDRION (showing claws)
Run!
The deer SCATTER.
HYDRION (V.O.)
Did they really have to go in
different directions?
HYDRION
Not to worry. I'll hunt them all down.
INNER VOICE (V.O.)
Get over with it already.
HYDRION
Just shut up and watch me.
(runs, sniffing)
Now, where did they go… got you.
(runs faster)
As the antelopes think they've
escaped, Hydrion appears SWIFTLY. One collapses, its throat slashed. The other
three antelopes freeze. Hydrion feasts.
HYDRION
(rising)
Which of you tastes better
One deer tries to escape. It dodges
Hydrion's attack, but he grazes its limb. It hides, trembling, hearing
footsteps… Hydrion is in front of it.
HYDRION
I'm kinda impressed. You were able to
dodge that.
(turns)
I'll kill you another day. Make sure
you're still alive till then.
The antelope sobs silently. Hydrion
catches the remaining two. He JUMPS, lands on one, SMASHES its face, and
devours it. The last deer charges in rage.
HYDRION
Should I be impressed by your courage…
or your stupidity?
The deer shatters into SIX PIECES—head
to tail.
HYDRION
Anyway…
(continues eating)
EXT. LAKE – NIGHT
Hydrion freshens up, then climbs a
MOUNTAIN.
HYDRION
This is my domain.
(HOWLS abnormally loud)
INNER VOICE (V.O.)

HYDRION

(runs down mountain)

TYBEAST wakes with BLOODY LIPS beside
LENIEL.

(yawns, stretches)

revealing four long, scar-like scratches running diagonally along her spine.

FLORENCIA (stunned)

Ms. Kelinza calmly adjusts her clothes back to
normal.
FLORENCIA

MRS. KELINZA (softly, with warmth)

good boy. And I love him just the way he is.
(She begins climbing the stairs slowly, her tone
suddenly shifting from warm to cold.)
MRS. KELINZA (CONT'D) (intense gaze)
If he could do this to the one he was supposed to
protect…
Then what do you think he'll do to those who try to
kill the one he was supposed to protect?
(She pauses at the top of the stairs, then smiles
sweetly.)
MRS. KELINZA (CONT'D) (cute tone)

Sharks have a strong sense of blood from miles away.
A bat has good echolocation and excellent hearing.
And a wolf? A wolf can smell from very, very far.
(She turns serious once again.)
MRS. KELINZA (CONT'D)

(She gives one last cute smile, then disappears into
her room.)
Silence fills the room again.
MAXI (softly)
She's scary.
FLORENCIA (grimly)
What she's trying to say…Hydrion knows we're here.
