Chapter 1 - Cursed one's birth

The dark night was quiet and eerie. The moon was covered by clouds, only a little bit of starlight making anything visible.

A large group of people in old ancient clothes, headed toward a mountain.

In the group around a thousand children were bound in chains. They were all acting like puppets, their faces blank, taking every step in sync.

The group looked at the children, an unspoken weight, heavy on their hearts.

Arriving in front of the mountain, a man sitting on horseback gazed upon the mountain.

Seven people from the group stepped into the mountain's cave.

The cave was smeared in silver, silent. In the centre of the cave was a pond full of silver liquid, a huge silver stone stood in the silver liquid.

The Stone was absorbing the silver liquid little by little.

All seven were staring at the stone constantly as if they were in a beautiful dream.

A middle aged man pulled his thoughts out and opened a chest that they brought here with them.

Inside a baby lay. It did not have any skin on its body, no eyes, no nose, no ears, only a mouth that was crying.

The silent cave echoed with its cries.

The middle aged man laid the baby in that silver liquid.

One of the men went out.

Coming out, he looked at everyone's depressed and hopeful faces.

And gave a signal to them.

Everyone's hearts almost stopped thumping as they grabbed their swords hard.

They looked at all those children. Some eyes were blurred with tears.

But, they made their hearts stern, gripping the sword's hilt hard.

They lost their grip on the swords and collapsed on the ground. Their hearts were being squeezed hard by something.

People looked at the bodies lying on the ground, trying to control their emotions.

Inside the cave, hearing the metal clicking sound, they all started to chant something.

The cave echoed with their chants.

The baby's body slowly started to absorb the silver liquid in the pond.

Its body started to rearrange the limbs, creating and destroying them again and again.

The cries started to overwhelm the chants of the group.

They made their last effort and started to shout the chants.

Hearing the shouts, everyone outside the cave started to chant.

The cave walls started to shake with every chant.

When the stone shattered.

The liquid vanished.

The baby's body structure stopped, a silver-haired baby sleeping in the pond.

The chanting stopped.

Seeing the baby, everyone stopped.

Their eyes had tears of sorrow, grief, anger.
