Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2 - UNLIMITED BALANCE - 1

The rain kept falling.

Renji stood under the streetlight, staring at the black card in his hand.

"Infinity Card…?" he muttered.

His phone buzzed again.

Balance: ∞

Renji frowned. "Infinite money…? That's impossible."

Anyone would think this was a prank.

But something about the card felt… different.

It was heavy, smooth, and strangely warm.

Renji looked around the empty street.

"Fine… I'll test it."

Across the road was a small convenience store. Not the one he worked at earlier—the one where his toxic manager had fired him.

A different one.

Renji walked inside.

The cashier barely looked at him.

"Welcome."

Renji grabbed a bottle of water and a sandwich. Normally he would check the price first, but today he didn't care.

At the counter, he placed the items down.

"Card or cash?" the cashier asked lazily.

Renji slowly pulled out the black card.

For a moment, the cashier paused.

"Is that… a metal card?"

Renji ignored the comment and handed it over.

The cashier inserted it into the machine.

Beep.

The screen lit up.

Then—

Payment Successful.

Renji's eyes widened.

"That… worked?"

The cashier handed the card back, slightly confused.

Renji quickly stepped outside and checked his phone.

A message appeared instantly.

Purchase Completed.

Remaining Balance: ∞

Renji stared at the screen.

The number hadn't changed.

Not even a little.

His heart started beating faster.

"This… is real."

He looked at the glowing symbol on the card.

The infinity mark shimmered faintly.

Renji slowly clenched his fist around it.

Memories flashed in his mind.

His uncle taking everything from him.

His aunt throwing him out of the mansion.

His manager shouting at him.

Mika kissing another man without even a hint of guilt.

Renji's eyes turned cold.

"So… the world wanted to push me down?"

A small smile appeared on his face.

"Good."

He slipped the card into his pocket.

"If money has no limit…"

Then his voice dropped into a dangerous whisper.

"I'll buy everything."

"The power."

"The respect."

"And the people who betrayed me…"

Renji looked up at the dark sky as rain poured down.

"I'll make them regret it."

Far away, lightning flashed across the clouds.

And somewhere in the darkness…

Renji's new life had just begun.

To Be Continued…
