Mirajane rolled her eyes. "If you're waiting for Alex, you're wasting your time. He and Erza have a few days off, so it's unlikely they'll show up at the guild."

Cana choked a bit on her beer, setting the mug down abruptly as her face flushed red. "I didn't say anything about Alex!"
"Really? Then why are you blushing?" Mirajane declared, catching the slight trace of embarrassment on Cana's face.
"It's the beer making me blush! Stop imagining things," Cana denied, rejecting any accusations.
Seeing that Cana wasn't going to spill the beans, Mirajane said, "Well, if you want to waste your time that much, go ahead. Those two are probably bouncing around like rabbits right now."
She muttered the last sentence in a low voice that only she could hear. After all, she was the one who had helped Alex not die of insomnia.
"Tsk." Cana ignored Mirajane and continued drinking her beer, hoping her plan to get Alex on her team for the S-Rank mission would go well.
Little did she know, her plans were not going to turn out the way she expected.
