Larry:" Mildred, you're late."
Mildred:" I'm sorry for keeping you waiting."
Larry:" It's alright. Guess my team did a great job."
Mildred:" Yeah"
Larry:" Young lady, you look dazzling."
Mildred let out a slight laughter.
Larry:" Would you be my date for the night?"
Mildred held onto his arm
Mildred:" Sure thing."
Larry:" I might not spend enough time with you today. I'd be officiating the auction. Here's my black card. Bid for anything you want at the auction. Enjoy your night."
Mildred:" Thanks Larry. But look for me after the auction section is over."
Larry:" Alright Mildi."

Fast forward to the auction section....
Everyone was seated for the auction. Ray, Zen, Alex , Ashton and Ryanne took the last row. Isen was seated three rows from the back, Mildred was four rows from the front and Bianca two rows from the front.
In total there were 9 rows.
Whatever was auctioned for bidding was displayed on two large screens.
Larry officiated the auction.
Larry:" Welcome everyone to the 7th Charity gala by the prestigious families Stone and MacFin! "
The hall erupted with a round of applause.
Larry continued,
Larry:" The money from today's auction would be donated to the orphanages in Crystavile Land..."
The first first item was a painting, ' Finally Alive'
The third item was a necklace, ' Queen of Hearts'
Isen bid for it at a price of 1.5 million dollars and won.
Mildred bid 3 million for the 5th item, another necklace, ' The Mermaid Tears'.
Ashton bid 5 million for the 9th item, a bracelet, ' Ethereal'.
Bianca bid for the last batch of the items which was jade stone bidding.
She wasn't a pro in telling which stone carried jade and only bid for the one which people tend to serious compete for.
She bid for it at a price of 1.3 million dollars.
After the auction, all who won the items were to gather at the payment room to make their full payment.
Ashton made his payment first so he could look for Ryanne who left for the restroom minutes ago.
Meanwhile, Bianca was shocked to see Mildred.
' How could could a " no name" family girl attend an auction and was qualified to win?' Bianca thought to herself.
Bianca:" What are you ' no-name family' girl doing here?"
Mildred:" Just what everyone here is here for"
Bianca:" Did you lose your way or -"
Mildred:" I'm not lost."
Bianca:" Oh really? What's your purpose?"
Mildred:" To pay for my item of course."
Bianca:" What could you obviously bid for?"
Mildred:" What if I told you it's ' The Mermaid Tears' ?"
Bianca:" ' The Mermaid Tears'?"
Bianca scoffed.
Bianca:" Did you just hear the name in passing? Do you even know how much that pearl necklace worths?"
Mildred:" It's worth 2 million dollars and I won it at 3 million. What's the deal?"
Bianca laughed.
Bianca:" 3 million? How possibly did you come up with such an amount? Stop bluffing."
Mildred pulled out the black card Larry gave her.
Mildred:" I'm paying with this."
Bianca:" A black card?! It's a fake!"
Mildred:" Fake? "
Mildred laughed
Bianca:" I'd prove it. Bring the PoS over."
The person in charge brought it over.
Bianca:" Everyone, this lady here is paying for ' The Mermaid Tears' at 3 million dollars. She claims it's real. Let's see if it is."
Mildred:" Well I'd do it but on one condition."
Bianca:" Name your price."
Mildred:" There's no backing out on this. You'd give me a public apology."
Bianca scoffed and said
Bianca:" Ok let's see what you've got."
Mildred swiped the card.
The place went dead silent.
Payment successful.
Mildred beamed with a bright smile.
Bianca was in utter disbelief.
Bianca:" Which rich guy did you latch unto?"
Mildred:" He's handsome."
Bianca:" You see?! I said it! You couldn't possibly come up with the 3 million without going through some shady means."
Mildred:" That's so true. I can shake off the feeling that you badly want to know who this guy is. Take a look at the card again."
She showed it for 5 seconds and then put it away.
Mildred:" What do you think?"
Bianca scanned through her memory. She had seen this card before.
Yeah, Larry used it to pay for her stuffs at Kandle. Bianca:" Wait... Is that the Olson Family's black card?"
Mildred:" Oh, so you know?"
Bianca:" It's not-"
Mildred:" Yes, it is Larry's, right?"
Bianca:" How did you get that?! You stole it!"
Mildred:" Does it matter?"
Bianca:" Yeah, it does."
Mildred:" Alright."
Another person with a PoS walked over to Bianca.
This person was in charge of the Jade stone payment.
' Miss, it's time to pay for your stone.'
Bianca:" Let's crack the rock first. I wanna show what I've got."
They turned to where the rock were.
They took her rock to the machine that cracks the stone.
In the next moment the room went silent.
