Chapter 2 - 2

2: Chapter 2 Classroom TurmoilThe atmosphere at the Ninja Academy felt both familiar and unfamiliar to Naruto at the moment.

He walked into the classroom right on time, and the originally noisy space seemed to be choked, instantly becoming quiet for a moment.

Various gazes fell upon me: those of disgust, fear, and indifference.

He didn't care at all.His azure eyes lazily swept around and finally landed on the black-haired boy who was sitting alone in the last seat by the window, exuding an aura of unapproachability.

Uchiha Sasuke.

The seat in front of Sasuke was empty.

Its owner, Sakura Haruno, has not yet arrived.

Naruto's lips curled into a strange smile as he walked straight to the seat next to the empty one, which was his original seat.

The sound of him pulling out the chair was somewhat jarring in the overly quiet classroom.

As soon as he sat down, Sasuke next to him didn't even lift his eyelids, completely ignoring him.

Naruto didn't mind and lay down on the table as if he was going to catch up on sleep, but he was actually keeping an eye on the door out of the corner of his eye.

Whispers broke out in the classroom again, mostly about him.

"Hey, look at Naruto."

"Something seems different today?"

"It's just my imagination, but I still hate it."

"Why isn't Sakura here yet?Isn't she usually the first one to be around Sasuke?"

Just then, the classroom door was gently pushed open.

Sakura Haruno lowered her head and slowly moved in.

The faint red mark on her left cheek seemed to have been carefully covered with foundation, but upon closer inspection, a slightly unnatural look could still be seen.

Her eyes darted away, especially when she looked in Naruto's direction, she would quickly look away like a startled rabbit, her fingers nervously twisting the hem of her clothes.

Instead of rushing to Sasuke with enthusiasm as usual, she quietly slipped to her seat, almost hugging the wall, her back stiff.

Those with sharp eyes in the classroom had already noticed her unusual behavior and the faint marks on her face, and gossipy gazes darted back and forth between her and Naruto.

Teacher Iruka walked in and began the lesson.

The explanation focuses on one of the most basic of the Three Body Techniques: the Clone Technique.

After explaining the theory, Iruka clapped his hands: "Alright, everyone, now let's start practicing.Have you all remembered the hand seal sequence and the key points of chakra control?"

The students stood up and began to clumsily form hand seals.

"Clone Technique!"

With a few soft popping sounds, several crooked, dimly colored clones appeared in the classroom, most of which disappeared into white smoke after only a few seconds.

Sasuke snorted coldly, his hand seals flowing smoothly. With a bang, a clone almost identical to his original appeared beside him, drawing gasps from the girls and Sakura's instinctive gaze, a mixture of infatuation and the turbulent emotions she felt at that moment.

Naruto, on the other hand, formed hand seals according to his body's memory.

"Clone Technique!"

An even more exaggerated plume of white smoke rose up, almost enveloping his entire area.

After the white smoke dissipated, a clone appeared, slumped on the ground, snot bubbling from its nose, its eyes glazed over, looking like a lump of mud, more wretched than ever before.

Hahahaha!

The classroom erupted in deafening laughter.

"As expected, they're still at the bottom of the class!"

"What kind of clone is this? It's a mud monster!"

"Naruto is only at this level!"

Iruka-sensei sighed helplessly, instinctively trying to soothe him: "Naruto, you need to concentrate your chakra control a little more."

Laughter surged forth like a tidal wave.

If it were the old Naruto, he would probably have blushed and loudly retorted, only to be met with more ridicule.

But Naruto showed no sign of frustration.

He even smirked, finding the mud-like clone in front of him rather comical.

However, his gaze bypassed the laughing crowd and precisely locked onto the pink figure in the front row.

Sakura Haruno is smiling too.

Perhaps it was to fit in, perhaps it was to cover up his unusual behavior throughout the day, or perhaps it was because he saw Naruto make a fool of himself that the familiar sense of superiority and disgust he felt towards him briefly overshadowed the strange events of the morning.

Her shoulders trembled slightly as she laughed, and she even turned her head to glance at Naruto with a lingering, unconscious disdain.

It was just that one glance.

The smile on Naruto's face vanished instantly, replaced by a cold, amused expression.

He suddenly moved.

Amidst everyone's laughter, he straightened up, the movement so large that the chair creaked backward with a very jarring sound.

The laughter stopped abruptly.

Under everyone's watchful eyes, Naruto ripped the drawstring off his orange tracksuit! The action was rough and direct.

The next second, he raised his arm!

"Smack—!"

A sharp, even echoing, bang suddenly ripped the air out of the classroom!

The soft cloth strip seemed to carry a sharp force in his hand, as if he was waving it around haphazardly and accidentally knocking it on the table in front of Sakura Haruno!

The loud noise and sudden movement startled Sakura so much that she shuddered violently, her laughter caught in her throat.

She stood frozen in place, as if she had been frozen in place, her pupils contracting sharply in shock.

The entire class fell silent.

Everyone stared in disbelief at this sudden turn of events, completely bewildered by what had happened.

Naruto looked down at Sakura, who was frozen in fear. His voice wasn't loud, but it carried an unprecedented sense of oppression, clearly reaching everyone's ears:

"Stop laughing!It's so noisy."

He paused, his gaze fixed intently on Sakura's pale face as she turned around, and added, "It sounds awful."

Sakura's cheers came to an abrupt halt.

An instinctive fear and.indescribable.

The burning sensation and the deep voice in my ear resurfaced.

She felt weak again and had to tense up to stop the damn trembling.

It gave her a feeling of extreme panic.

Naruto saw it all.

He snorted coldlyWith a soft thud, he tossed the drawstring back onto the table.

The sound made Sakura tremble slightly involuntarily.

Then, he sat down again and leaned back on the table, as if he hadn't been the one exuding a fierce aura just moments before.

All that remained was Sakura Haruno, completely petrified, her blood churning between hot and cold, a classroom filled with silent, bewildered students, and Iruka-sensei standing dumbfounded on the podium.

Iruka opened his mouth as if to say something, but found that he seemed to have lost his voice.

He had never seen Naruto like this before.

In the corner of the classroom, Sasuke Uchiha, who had been indifferent to everything, finally raised his eyelids slightly for the first time.A clear look of surprise flashed in his dark eyes, and his gaze lingered briefly between the blonde figure sleeping on his stomach and the pink-haired girl who seemed off.

The rest of the class was spent in an extremely eerie and quiet atmosphere.

When the bell rang, Naruto was the first to get up and walk out of the classroom without looking at anyone else.

Sakura remained motionless for a long time until Ino came over and nudged her, at which point she snapped out of her daze as if startled.

"Sakura? Are you alright? What's wrong with Naruto today?Did he also." Ino looked worriedly at the faint red marks on her face and her distraught appearance.

Sakura shook her head violently, her voice a little weak: "N-nothing!I.I'm going to the restroom!"

She almost stumbled out of the classroom, hid in a cubicle, slid down against the door, and covered her still burning face with her hands.

My heart was still pounding.

What kept replaying in my mind was not the mocking laughter, nor the disdain, but that crisp, terrifying snapping sound, his cold, oppressive voice, and the rough, direct action of him tearing off the rope.

A feeling that terrified her.

It was clearer and more turbulent than the one in the morning.

She buried her head deep in her knees and let out a very confused and shy whimper, as faint as a mosquito's buzz.

That loser.the devil.
