Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Awakening

Summer, 1991.

The afterglow of the setting sun gradually faded as the crimson clouds slowly dispersed across the horizon.

On a small hill near the village of Ottery St. Catchpole, a peculiar house stood tilted at an odd angle. The building was huge and cylindrical, painted entirely black. Although it looked extremely conspicuous on the hill, strangely enough, not everyone could see it.

As the residence of the Lovegood family, the strange house was protected by Muggle-Repelling Charms and several concealment spells, preventing non-magical creatures and Muggles from approaching.

Inside a bedroom on the second floor, a boy slowly opened his eyes.

He had a handsome face, long silver-white hair, and clear blue eyes.

The boy frowned as he stared at the unfamiliar surroundings.

Suddenly, a massive flood of fragmented memories rushed into his mind.

Blinding headlights.

The screeching sound of tires grinding against the road.

Terrified screams.

Yas clearly remembered being involved in a car accident. Everything before his eyes felt incredibly real—far too real to be a dream.

But this was obviously not a hospital.

Am I… not dead?

Where is this place?

The setting sun shone through the window, slightly dazzling his eyes. Yas subconsciously raised his hand to block the light.

That was when he noticed it.

A small and tender hand.

This was clearly the body of a boy around ten years old.

He had turned into a child!

Yas was stunned.

A shocking thought suddenly appeared in his mind.

Could it be… time travel?

Before he could process the chaotic emotions surging in his heart, a middle-aged male voice sounded outside the door. The voice was slightly suppressed and carried a hint of helplessness.

"Luna, you are being far too reckless!"

"How could you bring a Muggle child home? If the Ministry of Magic finds out about this, they will definitely cause trouble for us. I thought you at least understood the Statute of Secrecy?"

"Father, how do you know he's a Muggle?" a little girl's voice replied. Her voice sounded light and ethereal, yet very pleasant to the ear."Maybe he's the same as us?"

"Impossible!" the middle-aged man said firmly.

"The only magical family near us, aside from the Lovegoods, is the Weasley family. But that boy clearly doesn't have the Weasleys' iconic red hair!"

"He must be a child from the nearby Muggle village who got lost while playing outside."

"Perhaps you should send him to the Muggle police station…"

"Well… that's what Muggles call their law enforcement agency, right?"

"No, Father. Didn't you see his beautiful silver hair?" the little girl insisted."It's so special. I'm sure he's not ordinary..."

"I really can't do anything about you," the man sighed.

Silence followed.

A moment later, the voice spoke again.

"Fine. You can keep him here until he wakes up."

"Really?!" the little girl's voice instantly filled with joy. It sounded incredibly adorable.

"But once he wakes up, he must leave," the man added firmly.

"That's not fair!" the little girl complained.

However, the man did not reply again.

Soon, heavy footsteps moved downstairs.

A door opened, followed by the dull sound of footsteps on the wooden floor.

Yas quickly closed his eyes again.

Soft footsteps approached the bed.

The little girl seemed to be barefoot, as her steps were extremely quiet.

"Father is so stingy… why can't he just let you stay here?" the girl muttered with a hint of frustration.

Then a small, slightly cool and clumsy hand gently touched Yas's forehead.

"Strange… he doesn't seem sick. Why hasn't he woken up yet?"

Yas's long eyelashes trembled slightly, but he still kept his eyes closed.

At that moment, his heart was far from calm.

He had heard the entire conversation clearly. Although the language they spoke was different from what he had used before, he somehow understood every word.

Muggle…

Magic…

Luna… Lovegood…

The Weasley family…

These words were extremely familiar to him.

Yas had loved the Harry Potter series since he was a child. Even after graduating from college and becoming an overworked office employee, he would occasionally rewatch the movies just to revisit that magical world.

Right now, the situation felt unbelievably surreal.

Based on the current circumstances, after rational analysis and eliminating all impossibilities, the remaining truth—no matter how unbelievable—must be reality.

He had… traveled into the world of Harry Potter.

And somehow, he had appeared inside the house of the eccentric girl Luna Lovegood.

Beside him, Luna's sweet voice continued to echo softly.

"Are you really just a Muggle?" she murmured regretfully, speaking to herself without expecting a response.

"I wish you were like me. Then we could be companions and play together, don't you think?"

"Maybe we could even go to Hogwarts together in the future."

"Oh, right… if you're a Muggle, you probably haven't heard of that school."

"It's one of the best schools in the wizarding world!"

"The greatest white wizard in the world, Albus Dumbledore, is the headmaster there!"

Her voice carried admiration and a hint of longing.

Hearing this, Yas quickly calmed his emotions.

He accepted the unbelievable reality that he had traveled into the Harry Potter world and began thinking about his future.

His current identity seemed to be nothing more than a Muggle.

After arriving in such a magical world, would he really be unable to explore it?

That result was truly disappointing.

Yas sighed silently.

Perhaps when he woke up, Luna's father would simply cast a Memory Charm and erase everything.

His life would once again drift far away from the magical world.

Thinking about that possibility left a hollow feeling in his chest.

Suddenly, a mechanical voice echoed inside his mind.

A new memory suddenly surfaced in Yas's mind.

It contained information about Aris Shafik—his life experiences from birth until now, along with details about his family's background.

At the same time, the system's voice startled him.

Yas—no, Aris Shafik—who had been pretending to sleep, subconsciously focused his mind inward.

Immediately, a dazzling golden gift box appeared in his consciousness.

Is this the legendary golden finger system… and the beginner gift pack that every transmigrator gets?

Aris felt a surge of excitement.

All his attention focused on the glowing gift box.

"Open the gift package!"

As soon as the thought appeared in his mind, the golden gift box slowly opened, releasing a brilliant flash of light.
