Several days had passed since the conversation with Kurisu, and Deya had another conversation ahead of her before she took the final step.
Knocking and receiving permission to enter, Deya walked into Yuno's room and unexpectedly felt a surge of hesitation. Although before the door opened, she thought she was ready for this conversation, it turned out she wasn't.
Noticing her hesitation, Yuno gently took her hand and, leading her to the bed, made her sit down and sat beside her. Still holding her hand gently, she said softly:
"Don't worry, I know about your feelings, and I don't mind. Honestly, I'm very grateful to you. Once, I asked him to stay with me, and he did. I thought I had no more right to ask him, so I accepted it. Thank you for bringing him back to me."
After these words, Deya noticed tears flowing from Yuno's beautiful eyes. In her entire life, there hadn't been more than three times when she'd seen this strong-willed girl, who had been like a second mother to her, shed tears.
Seeing this, she hugged Yuno tightly and said:
"I only know my mother from my brother's stories, and I've always respected her, but after learning the truth about my origins, I respect her even more. But the truth is, I can't say I love her. You're like a second mother to me. You gave me the love and care she couldn't, so I'm very glad you took the news of my origins so well."
"Honestly, I've known about it for a long time, and this fact only multiplied my love for you, knowing you're the daughter of the man who became my entire world. Since I was 12, I've loved you with all my heart," Yuno said sincerely, giving the girl a tender smile.
Hearing Yuno's sincere words, Deya paused for a moment. Embarrassed by her thoughts, she nevertheless overcame her shyness and, surprisingly timidly, said:
"When Daddy and I cross that line, I want you to be there, so we can share that moment. I've already made up my mind and won't back down, but I won't lie, I'm still a little scared. And these past few years have been hard on all of us. I'm sure my beloved mommy needs to relax too."
Despite the context of their conversation, these words truly touched Yuno. The fact that the daughter of her beloved man, whom she — despite her sincere desire — could never give a child, sincerely called her "mommy," made this moment one of the best in her life.
After a moment's thought, she said:
"The first time only happens once, and if you truly want the three of us to share this special moment, I'll be happy to do it. It seems your father can no longer slip the hook. We'll do it as soon as he's recovered."
