Once upon a time, there was a girl, (very cliche ..every story starts with this …boring hn…No … well let's continue). As you can see from the title she was a middle-class girl..had many dreams and ambitions. She wanted to do something big in her life. She wanted to be famous, but of course rich ..well that was a necessity. Being middle class you are trapped as you don't have a pure cause to work hard plus you don't have money as well. As she wanted to play basketball, she became well in that game but then there was some difficulty that comes in the career of every middle class i bet that…she got a bit lower in her grades …Her parent said to leave the game instead of fighting back for herself she did what was asked. But due to that, she was only studying she didn't feel nice but she couldn't tell that anyone her parents were too busy or maybe not that frank then she got good marks but she was not happy from inside. She started watching TV in her free time hiding from her parents. Her parents didn't say anything to her.
I think that's the biggest problem of middle-class parents they are too involved in, in their problems that they leave their child on their own, they don't ask wants happening in their own child's life. But surely they become aware after seeing our grades. They mainly make us focus only on studies rest is just a waste of time and money for them. And even if they invest they don't do it with a happy heart which makes us as a child just quit.
Oh, let's come back to the story, that girl started watching TV, see studied as well only when her parents said not by herself. Then to be good in her parent's life she left everything her friends and her hobbies just to get good marks in her 10th board. Yay, she got good marks, and she did get recognition but at what price she didn't have any side hobby she was just a nerd with no friends or personality. She didn't realize it then what she was becoming was just a people pleaser for her parents to be happy and boost her about.
Now she thought she wanted money she needs it very badly. So she thought being a doctor would take her years to earn money therefore she thought to become an engineer course these two were the only options she had based on her marks criteria. Then after that being the oldest she had a lot of responsibilities, she was said to make her own decisions but not told on what basis to make a decision. She was given choices with benefits and problems associated if she took sything other than that which she have to keep in mind. Being emotional as she is she took a path that everyone like not her, she never stood up for herself …she thought that she is doing good she is being recognized in her family …she is given respect but she was unable to recognize that something is eating her from inside.. then she worked hard again to get good grades in class 12th and she got again very good grades but at what cost? Ya, you guessed it right …by being isolated from everyone till now she didn't have even a single friend, no personality no habit nothing. Her parents didn't see this …they were seeing her grades and assuming that her daughter is gonna be so successful. Then they motivated her to drop and study hard to get into IIT,that is the best thing. She thought that she would be able to but little did she knew that its not the same battle. By studying just 1–2 months cant take you to IIT. With just an initial thought to impress her parents she started on that journey. She thought that everyone is there but when she cried she found no one there. Soon things got tough she started scrolling. She kept of scrolling…deep down she had that feeling of guilt and regret. Everday was a cycle of scrolling the whole day and then crying the whole night about it. Seeing her family situation. You know what made it worse.. she knew she was doing wrong … She wanted someone to be there to tell that person all the things she was going through but she didn't want to load anyone with her problems. She didn't know how someone would react. She tried to tell her parents they thought she was doing drama as she was not able to get good marks Others told their own problems when she was telling her nobody listened to her. She really wanted a listener she found no one. She thought she was depressed, every day is searched for someone for therapy, or she tried to do self-harm she didn't want to live anymore but she saw her parents and got back again on scrolling and crying.. She had no one to share no real bonds to talk to none to guide none to tell what is was feeling this way 1 year passed by this was a terrible year she was able to get just the passing marks in IIT. She got into a college which her parents thought was a good one as it was very less to pay on. Even she took that college to just get away from her house and not waste her parents money. She thought leaving the house would remove all her problems and she would come up from all this.
Now she came into the college with high ambitions of cracking a great off-campus internship…She started her journey and found few friends and went on a trip in her first year only ...….There is much more to say will continue in next part…..
