After the D-Grade Demon Giant incident, Natsuya, Akira, and Haruka headed to Arayuki, fighting more D-Grade Demons, impressed with his skills. Three of them watch him relentlessly killing the demons, using his unwavering, condescending mana and skill, heavily overwhelming the demons. Staying on the ground, he gets outnumbered by a few demons.
Arayuki: "Five D-Grade Demons... this seems like a job, but I think I can handle this. I would do the same for each demon just like last time, but I'm worried I might get grabbed and eaten, or worse."
Arayuki jumps high and lands on the roof of a building on the right side, where he sees the demons. He runs to a perfect position and lands an attack to skewer its head, gaining more mana. His Hunter System notifies him about his Mana Exchange.
Hunter System: "25% Mana. 75% Until Ultima."
Arayuki: "Close Attacks give around 5-15% Mana. The 10% was the leftover from the Demon Giant I fought. Ranged Attacks give 10% Mana depending on the type. If it's heavy, it'll drain it, but give at least 5% back. It's like balance and equilibrium, except the hunter gains the weight. Whatever requires mana will drain a specific amount, depending on the strength of the attack."
Using the dual blades, Arayuki reverse-grips his blades, starting to rapidly spin horizontally across The Five Demons, brutally cutting through their necks.
Arayuki: *Confidently and a fit of rage* "Dragon TORNADO!!!"
His Dragon Tornado has given him 25% mana, 5% each hit. The attack didn't require mana, meaning he didn't drain it.
Hunter System: "50% Mana. Available Skill: Lightning Pincer."
Arayuki: "Not using that for now. I need full Ultima again and prepare an attack."
Arayuki throws one of his daggers at a Demon, to grapple his way to make another slash, until one of them grabs him, trying to crush him. He has one dagger left, but he has no mobility to prepare an attack. While Natsuya, Akira, and Haruka watched in terror,
All: "ARAYUKI!"
In desperation, he tried to find a way to free himself from the Demon's grip, until he realized, his daggers are also infused with venom, since the material is from a serpent's fang. The dagger he threw constantly damaged the other Demon, gaining him mana.
Hunter System: "75% Mana. 25% Until Ultima. Available Skill: Sea Serpent's Fear."
Arayuki: "You guys think that you can take me down this quickly? Fear not, you're going to be finished!"'
Arayuki uses Sea Serpent's Fear, which completely sliced the demon's hands into pieces, no matter how strong the demon's grip was. His mana has completely drained out; he could not perform a strong attack unless it's filled up, until this happened:
Arayuki: "Absorb."
The Demon's blood contained a large amount of mana, like a treasure chest. He was able to access the power when there was strong radiation or substances nearby. He absorbed all the mana in the blood, causing him to reach 80% Ultima, since he has a strong type of absorption. Arayuki dashed at the demon where he threw his dagger at, once he grabbed it, he used both of his daggers to perform an attack where he slashes through its body, achieving 100% Ultima, this attack killed the demon, and Arayuki used absorb again, since the radiation of the demon's blood is very high, it had managed to get his Mana meter beyond its limit.
Hunter System: "110% Mana. Ultima is Available."
For a split second, he went under a fit of rage, causing him to hold his daggers violently.
Arayuki: "You demons really piss me off. You really thought you could devour me? Learn your own damn boundaries. The superiority BELONGS TO ME!"
He had fully reached his prime, with steam flourishing around his presence, glowing, carmine eyes, and twitching his head at a constant rate.
Arayuki: "This is called a Spiritual Awakening, where the hunter bypasses the Mana limit. This applies to C-Grades to S-Grades or above. But this is just the unmastered form. In this state, the hunter can perform all moves without draining mana. If the mastery of this form increases, the time of this awakening increases, and I have ten seconds left."
As soon as he awakens, he grabs his daggers, jumping high above the four demons, ready for a destructive attack.
Arayuki: "Ultima-Infused Blades. THUNDERSTORM PINCER!"
His blades turn dark with bright highlights, and he swings with his blades, launching three large claw-like slashes, heavily cutting the four demons around their upper body, trying to reach out to him. Arayuki thought of another attack, to fully eviscerate the demons.
Arayuki: "Ultima-Infused Blades. ASURA'S DESPAIR!"
He lunges down to the demons, until a supersonic dash, creating a giant "X" shaped slash once landed on the ground, slashing the demons countless times, and then making a hurricane, before the hurricane disappears and converts to a force where it creates spikes from the ground, and then Arayuki performed a large slash, killing the four injured demons. His awakened state faded away in time.
Arayuki: *Confidently and Panting* "I Win."
