We were at a café.
I was eating a strawberry parfait, and Koneko was with me.
She was devouring a parfait almost as big as her head: "How do these even fit in your stomach? Every time I see you, you're eating."
"I don't know."
"Okay, now I'm actually curious. Do you go to the bathroom a lot, or do devils not poop at all?"
Koneko kicked my leg: "Idiot…"
She looked embarrassed, but now this question was never going to leave my mind…
Once upon a time, I believed beautiful girls didn't go to the bathroom.
Then I got disappointed.
I hope in this universe at least that nerf has been removed…
"So, why did you invite me on a date, Koneko? Or did you fall in love with my handsomeness?"
Koneko's expression changed: "…I just wanted to say thank you."
"You started using senjutsu, didn't you? Reality must have slapped you in the face," I said.
She was understanding how easy usage of senjutsu was for her, that maked her suspicious of what they told her about her sister.
Koneko smiled: "But if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have learned it, nya."
Fuck!
My heart hurts… I'm going to die from too much cuteness!
She reached out with a napkin and wiped something off my face: "You eat so messily."
We finished our parfaits and left.
We went to the arcade together: "Don't shoot like that! My eyes are bleeding…"
She was holding the toy gun and firing at the screen — it was one of those games.
I adjusted her shoulders, fixed her grip, and held her from behind: "Now let your hands follow my guidance and see how fast you start hitting."
"FULL SCORE!"
We left with a plush bear.
Besides that, we did things like watching a movie, and eventually ended up at the park.
Koneko was holding the plush bear: "I had a lot of fun today…"
"Same here. See, sometimes even you can be fun," I said.
But she punched me in the stomach: "Why aren't you affected? You should be writhing on the ground by now!"
"Magic," I said and made a hand gesture.
Koneko turned her head: "Bullshit."
But I gently turned her chin back toward me with my finger: "Don't believe me? Look, here's a new magic trick."
I pretended to pull something from behind her ear and made a rose appear: "Here you go."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome. Next time, you plan the date," I said and started walking home.
Koneko stayed in the park.
First, she looked at the rose, then at Arthur walking away.
She smiled and left from there.
