I cam to that cafe again... i plan to come next day after meeting her but some stupid work came... i entred inside
Jay's POV
It had been a few days since I started working at MKW Café. I was getting used to the busy hours and rich customers, but something about today felt different.
The café door opened, and two familiar voices called out.
"Jay!"
I looked up and saw Kyla running toward me, with Kerean right behind her.
"Kyla! Kerean!" I laughed and hugged her.
"I missed you!" she said happily.
"I missed you too," I said.
Kerean grinned. "I told you she works here."
"You two know each other?" I asked.
"Of course! She's my best friend," Kyla said, holding my arm.
I blinked, surprised.
"You work too much," Kerean teased. "You should come hang out with us sometime."
"Maybe when I'm not working," I laughed softly.
Kiefer's POV
I stepped into the café quietly. All the staff stiffened.
And then I saw her.
Jay.
She was smiling at someone—her face lighting up in a way that made the café feel warmer than usual.
Kyla waved at me. "Kuya!"
I nodded calmly, but my eyes stayed on Jay.
Kerean stepped forward. "You know her, right? She's really kind. You'll like her."
I studied her quietly. She was unlike anyone I had seen before… real.
I walked closer. "So… you three already know each other," I said.
Kyla nodded. "She's my best friend!"
And I realized… this meeting was only the beginning of something bigger than I could imagine.
